    It all depended on what type of god these Legends wanted to be. So they have total freedom in who they can challenge and whatpetition they can pick.


    In fact, a Legend can challenge the god of war to a kindnesspetition. It would be allowed even though the god has nothing to do with being kind, and the Legend would have an advantage. If the Legend wins the kindnesspetition, they will be acknowledged by the world as being on par with a god in terms of kindness, so they will be able to be a demigod.


    Despite how loose the requirement is, no Legend has been able to be a demigod yet. All the ones that tried have failed because they couldn''t match up to a god in any aspect.


    But Ab thought it would be wiser not to pick some obscure skill to challenge a god in. Instead he thought it would be better to fight the strongest god in hand-to-handbat. Everyone knew he was just asking for a beating.


    As it was a challenge of skill recognized by the world, bothbatants would have their power set at the same level of Legends. This way, the challenge would be about skill, not power. Despite this handicap to 9 Crowns, many people thought Ab was just asking for a beating. The mortals thought so, as well as the gods.


    Even the gods, who are enemies of 9 Crowns, which is mostly everyone, thought the stupid mortal was doomed. The whole world was in agreement about this. It doesn''t actually matter that the mortals thought 9 Crowns is undefeatable, as their opinion is clouded by faith. But it has to be a serious matter if the gods who could see farther ahead thought AB stood no chance and that there had to be a scheme afoot for why 9 Crowns would entertain this mortal''s challenge. But this was no scheme to lure the gods out of their shell so that 9 Crowns could kill them. The challenge turned into a simple and honest beatdown.


    Ab was beaten and then killed with Golden Light. No matter how talented a mortal is, he just can''tpare to an Origin god. AB wascking in terms of skills and experience.


    Even the skills he had that Legion-1 hadn''t seen before could be analyzed in an instant. After all, they wee just basic physical and energy movements. They can''tpare withws.


    Ab was impaled by Golden Light after he was beaten to a pulp. Golden Light scattered his consciousness. He died in God''s domain and on earth. Legion could have spared him, but they didn''t want to. Besides, they wanted to cause more trouble for the gods before they left. 9 Crowns left Golden Light on the stage still stabbed into Ab''s corpse. The sight remained in front of the whole world for a while with no one going forward to steal Golden Light.


    But then the name of 9 Crowns disappeared from the rankings. It also disappeared from the divine steel in Gemmis. It meant 9 Crowns had lost ess to God''s Domain. The gods couldn''t believe it. They were stunned for a long time. But that didn''t stop them from rushing forward to fight for control of Golden Light. It was Mortal de all over again. Except this time the gods could involve themselves in the fight as well as the mortals.


    A great war was fought for Golden Light. It started with the death of AB and was followed by the death of priests and believers of various gods. Then it swallowed the mortal and divine realms.
