    Chapter 810 Titans

Ulrik stared at a screen, not quite believing what he was seeing.

    —

Three times. Three sesses. Three spots atop the leaderboard.

There was hardly anyone on the list with their name on there more than once, and even then, their attempts were often years apart and withrge gaps between their performances.

Not only was Ss Grimde somehow on top three out of three times, he had taken these attempts back to back to back, and as though all of that wasn''t bad enough, he surpassed second ce by improving the time over 10x. There was less than a three-hour gap between fourth ce and 97th, but Ss alone opened a 13-hour gap.

It didn''t make any logical sense, not in the slightest bit.

Ss had only just left, and yet not even three hourster, he had dropped a bomb on them all.

Despite all of this, this wasn''t what had Ulrik sitting here.

He could feel it. It wasn''t just the pressure of Ss'' gaze back then, forcing him to pay attention to the Human for the first time since he met him, but it was something deeper than that.

He felt that there was a purpose behind this. A purpose that he couldn''t quite grasp, but somehow… he also knew that that other shoe was going to drop very soon.

    And that it did.

    BANG!

Ulrik''sboratory door opened so viciously that it shattered against the Rune-protected walls. He was about to be furious when he saw who it was walked in.

He stood to his feet quickly.

    "Father."

Ulrik bowed deep and low, all of his dissatisfaction vanishing in a puff of smoke. Before this chiseled man with a blood-red line running down the center of his forehead, Ulrik didn''t dare to be the slightest bit negligent.

He had been waiting for his father toe to scold him about his loss to a mere Human already, but he hadn''t appeared. Now that he had, Ulrik had a feeling that it was about this.

    But he was wrong.

Belvont Vecunish looked at his bowing son and didn''t say a word that indicated he wanted thetter to rise. Instead, he mmed a palm on the workbench, triggering a mechanism within and opening up a holographic feed.

    He swiped a hand.

    —

Ulrik still didn''t dare to look up, not until his father said as much. But Belvont seemed content to just stare at the list.

It wasn''t until a full ten minutes that he spoke in a deep, rumbling voice.

    "Look."

It was only then Ulrik finally raised his head. He was confused when he saw the list at first, then disappointed. Was his father just here to tell him that he wasn''t good enough once again?

He knew what the Titan list was. It was a list that measured potential, umting the merit of every aspect of a person andpiling them into a list.

This included Genes, Unique Genes, Gene Talents, and deeper down into Blood Essence and Bone Essence as well.

The Skai Gxy didn''t have the tools to measure deeper than that, but he had heard that there were some Super Gxies out there that could measure even as deep as Race Quintessence. Those lists were the absolute most urate, but the power needed to do such a thing was something Ulrik couldn''t even fathom right now—or maybe ever.

"Father, once I seed with the Quest, I guarantee I will make this list. I will not let you down! Even without the Aether Treasure, I can do it!"

Belvont didn''t reply, crossing his arms and leaving the list floating there.

If nothing else, Ulrik knew his father well—too well, he might say. The fact that he was just standing there, looking down on him, meant that he had not received the answer he was looking for.

Ulrik grit his teeth, ready to speak again with more conviction when he froze.

He looked at the list again, his eyes widening when he saw Ss'' name at 13.

    "No… that''s… impossible…"

There was a reason why everyone on the list, at least for the top 20 or so, were all Level 50.

Just like Ss had seen when analyzing Plinli''s body, the crossing from Level 50 to Level 51 required a qualitative change that relied on umtion.

The bottleneck of F to E-Grade was reliant on an expert stuffing their body full of as many Genes as they could muster, then undergoing the arduous process of suppressing them and pushing them down through theyers of their body, forming a sturdy, powerful foundation.

This was to say that one''s potential in the F-Grade would reach its absolute peak only at Level 50 and nowhere else.

So how in the hell was Ss on the list at Level 0!?

Ulrik''s heart skipped a beat, something vibrating in his throat. A lump formed, growingrger until he felt his neck almost close up.

He stood there in shock for a long while before he slowly began to calm down.

The chilliness in his eyes returned and his Will pulsed around him.

This must have been what Ss was aiming for all along. He had definitely gotten whatever he needed to boost his potential to this extent through the Dustspark Viper Dungeon.

But that also meant that Ss had such a method on him.

He was going to have to kill this young man anyway. Why not conveniently benefit at the same time.

His heart practically growled with killing intent.

    "I will kill him!"
