Because Ynda burst in like a whirlwind and made a scene, Mr. Grover left the room in a huff.
Kevin and ra hurried after him. In the private room, Evelina, ovee with rage, screamed, “Ouch!
Lizetta!”
She flipped the table, sending tes and sses crashing to the floor. It wasn’t long before the
commotion drew the attention of other patrons.
Fueled by collective irritation, Evelina and her parents were promptly escorted out by the restaurant’s
security team.
It was a scene of utter embarrassment.
The Hawthornes causing such a scandal surely tanked their chances at securing future investments.
Back home, Kevin was livid. He gave Evelina a piece of his mind, ming her for escting the
situation by throwing the soup.
He stormed out, leaving Evelina burning with resentment. It was all Lizetta’s fault, after all!
She had only meant to stand up for her father, but now she was the one being med. She vowed not
to let Lizetta get away with it.
Evelina was determined to make Lizetta suffer just as she had. She picked up her phone, her voice
sinister.
“You need to do exactly as I say. If you seed, you’ll be rewarded handsomely. But if you refuse, I’ll
spill your secrets to your boss. Betrayal is betrayal, no matter how often it happens.”
The next day.
Lizetta was up early, ready to head to her dance troupe.
After a quick breakfast with Ynda, they set off together. Just as they reached the lobby, Wilma
approached them with two burly bodyguards.
“Mrs. Lizetta Dashiell, Mrs. Hanna Dashiell sent me to bring you this soup. You mustn’t refuse it today;
she insisted I watch you finish it.”
Lizetta’s face was stone cold. She couldn’t believe that she even shattered the bowl yesterday, and
Hanna was still persisting.
Despite moving out of the Dashiell family vi, Hanna was still able to corner her here. How relentless.
“I already made myself clear. If anyone dares bring that soup near me again, I’ll dump it on them!
Wilma, fancy a soup shower this morning?”
Lizetta red at Wilma, who seemed unphased and signaled the bodyguards behind her.

“Mrs. Lizetta Dashiell won’t cooperate; you’ll have to assist her.”
The two bodyguards moved in, ready to fasten Lizetta’s shoulders and force her to take the soup.
“What the heck! Seriously? Pretend I’m not here, huh? I’ll teach you a lesson today and let you know
treating a pregnantdy should be the same as treating your own mother!”
Ynda, amused in exasperation, rolled up her sleeves, dismissively flicking her chin at the
bodyguards.

Lizetta instinctively stepped back, concern in her voice, “Be careful, okay?”
“Me? Scared of them? They’re all bark and no bite, only good at bullying women!”
“I meant, go easy on them. We don’t want to knock any teeth out; it’d be a hassle.”
Upon seeing their disregard, the bodyguards exchanged their gazes and then charged, igniting a fierce
skirmish.
Thuds and yells echoed through the lobby. Five minutester, the bodyguardsy on the ground,
battered and beaten, unable to stand.
Ynda marched over to Wilma, who was pale as a ghost and retreating with the thermos. Snatching
the thermos, Ynda raised her foot to kick, but Wilma, anticipating the blow, stumbled backward and
fell into a flower bed.
“Liz, your turn,” Ynda turned, offering the thermos to Lizetta.
