Chapter 952

The moment Andrea thought about what could happen, her face went pale.

    "Delete it!" she snapped.

She knew full well her expression just now hadn''t been friendly at all. Thest thing she wanted was for Lizetta to upload that video.

Andrea reached up, trying to snatch the phone away, but Lizetta mped down hard on her wrist and spoke coldly.

"Andrea, you only get to parade around in front of me because you''re a Porter now otherwise, I wouldn''t tolerate you for a second. But don''t keeping after me, or

I won''t mind spending a little pocket change to make sure you''re trending for all the wrong reasons, understand?"

Lizetta tossed Andrea''s hand aside. Andrea''s eyes immediately shimmered with unshed tears.

Ignoring her, Lizetta stepped into the elevator. Andrea bit her lip but still followed after her.

As the doors slowly slid shut, Andrea''s demeanor shifted instantly into a wounded, innocent act.

"Liz, you''ve got it all wrong. I only said all that because I care about you. You''re Ms. Madden now if you wanted a man, you could have anyone. So why go back to someone who already left you?”

Lizetta didn''t answer, treating Andrea''s presence like thin air.

Andrea kept pushing. "Seriously, Grandpa''s already furious that you let the Dashiell family walk all over you. Now you''re tangled up with Remington again—if Grandpa finds out, what if he gets so upset he falls ill? Grandma and Grandpa love me like their own, so I''m just looking out for you, for their sake."

"Take care of yourself first," Lizetta said with a scoff. As if Andrea ever had anyone''s best interest at heart but her own.

If she truly cared about Nelson and Grandma Bernice, she wouldn''t act the way she did. She was as selfish as ever.

The truth was, Andrea was still bitter that Grandpa and Grandma had cast her out of the Madden family, ignoring all those years they''d raised her.

The elevator was almost at their floor. Andrea bristled with anger, seeing how little Lizetta cared about her presence.

Suddenly, she grabbed Lizetta''s arm. “You really don''t know a good thing when you see it. Fine-let me show you what people are saying about you for running back to your ex."

Andrea pulled out her phone, opened a WhatsApp group, and shoved it toward Lizetta.

    "Here, see for yourself."

Ever since Andrea had joined the

    specting she was Ms. Madden.

    Shed spent big, treating

    several

departments to coffee and pastries, buying her way into a few group chats.

At first, she''d looked down on these low-level employee chats, but she was surprised to find so many messages gossiping about Lizetta. She''d gotten quite the thrill out of reading them so much so that she''d barely sleptst night, too excited.

That''s why, running into Lizetta this morning, she just couldn''t resist rubbing salt in the wound.

Pathetic, she thought to herself. Absolutely disgraceful—dragging the Madden family name through the mud.

She couldn''t imagine what Grandpa or Jerome were thinking, tossing her aside for someone like Lizetta, who clearly let her heart rule her head.

    Blind, the lot of them.

Lizetta''s eyes flickered to the WhatsApp messages, drawn in despite herself.

[Mr. Dashiell''s ex-wife was so maniptive! I heard he was always faithful, waiting for Ms. West. That ex actually drugged him and trapped him into marriage.]

[Oh my god, how can someone be so shameless? So vicious?]

[Exactly! Otherwise, why would Mr. Dashiell—who loved Ms. West so much and never stopped looking for her-ever marry someone else?]

[No wonder she tried to run Ms. West down with her car. She must have been jealous that Ms. West had all of Mr. Dashiell''s love. Thank goodness he divorced her and kicked her out.]

    [That ex totally deserves it.

Compared to Ms. West, she''s just

the viin in a drama-everyone can see who the real heroine is. Mr Dashiell Would have to be blind to pick the wrong woman.]

[Lol, the viins in those stories never end well. Fingers crossed this ex-wife gets hit

by a car next time she goes out, and neveres back to ruin RemSte''s happiness.]

Lizetta only scrolled through a handful of messages before her grip on the phone tightened, knuckles turning white.
