Chapter 2703

Inside the inn, Reese shed his tattered long robe after hanging up the phone and pulled out a brand new set of clothes from his backpack. He used a pair of scissors to trim his messy hair and then took a shower in the inn''s bathroom.

After tidying himself up with theplimentary razor and other toiletries, he transformed back into the refined scion of the Kinley family.

"Alright, this should do. Let''s see just how courageous you can be, Hazel."

    ...

There was a knock on the door of a luxurious vi. Wrendell held out a begging bowl and asked, "Esteemed donor, could you spare some vegetarian food?"

However, the resident did not respond kindly. Instead, they disdainfully chased him away. "Go away, you beggar! Get lost!" Then, with a scornful expression, they shut the door in his face.

Though Wrendell did not receive any food, a hint of a smile crept onto his lips. Behind him, a small shadow darted into the room unnoticed.

    ...

"Married off? You?" Mather clearly found it hard to believe.

"Is that surprising? Do you think my desire for revenge is just for show? Let me

tell you about the dark side of the Wakefield family," Tybalt responded.

One morning about three years ago, there was a knock on the door to the Lumleys'' mansion in Charisot.

The eighteen-year-old Tybalt impatiently shouted at the butler in the hall, "What''s all that noise? It''s so annoying!"

Suddenly, the patriarch of the Lumley family yelled at him, "You little brat, get down here!"

Reluctantly, Tybalt descended the stairs, and in front of him stood a stranger.

"Mr. Tybalt Lumley, you should really consider your lifelongmitment carefully."

Tybalt, still annoyed, replied, "Who the hell are you? What does it have to do with you?"

    "I''m just "

Tybalt had little patience. Just as he was about to leave, his father suddenly grabbed him.

    "You brat, stay put!"

Tybalt shook off his father''s hand. "What''s wrong with you today? Why are you in such a hurry for me to get married?"

His father pped his hands, and a group of bodyguards surrounded him.

"Hey! You''re going against me now?"

"Mr. Tybalt, why don''t you listen to the patriarch for a moment?"

"Yes, Mr. Tybalt. Please don''t rush."

At this time, the patriarch of the Lumley family spoke with great seriousness, "Boy, it''s time for you to contribute to the entire family."

    "What do you mean?"

"You don''t need to go to school anymore. Your two brothers are enough to handle the family matters."

Tybalt was still trying to process this. "What do you mean? Are we so rich that I can just stay home and be a freeloader?"

"You wish! I''m telling you to get married, to be a live-in son-inw!"

“Huh? Old man, what do you mean by that?"

Before he could continue, Tybalt suddenly felt dizzy and copsed.

The man who hade to propose this arrangement grinned wickedly and

asked, "How''s that? Do you like this power?"

"Immortal techniques! This is simply extraordinary!" the patriarch eximed, filled with excitement.

That day, Tybalt had no idea what he was about to endure. He was taken to

Palvere without any understanding of what was happening. As soon as he arrived, the group prepared for his marriage to Hazel, the eldest daughter of the Wakefield family.

Tybalt was stunned as he wondered how he was forced to enter a marriage.

The night before the wedding, he suddenly heard some noises.
