Chapter 2503

The prolonged shock and days of relentless exhaustion finally overwhelmed Alyssa. She copsed and lost consciousness.

In the hospital ward, her elder brothers paced back and forth like ants on a hot pan. Once again, the Taylors found themselves in yet another massive crisis.

"Jonah, I know this isn''t something I should be saying right now, but we truly have no other choice. We''ve been pushed into a corner."

Ss drew a deep breath and looked at Jonah, his expression sincere yet utterly helpless. "Could you get in touch with Julien? He''s a world-renowned neurologist. If anyone can help, it''s him. I''ll go to him myself. I''ll plead, bargain—whatever he asks. "I''m willing to give up my career as a prosecutor so long as he can help Dad regain his memories."

    The Taylors were stunned.

Back in high school, Ss had dreamed of bing a prosecutor. He had spent more than a decade wing his way toward that goal, enduring countless sacrifices to stand where he was today. Everyone knew that this career was not just his dream —it was his purpose, the very thing that gave his life meaning.

Yet now, he was willing to abandon it without hesitation.

It was painfully clear that, to Ss, nothing mattered more than Winston recovering his memories.

"Don''t say that, Ss..." Jonah choked, finding it difficult to breathe.

Axel''s eyes were bloodshot. He stepped forward as well, his voice low and strained. "Jonah, please ask Julien to help save Dad. If Dad doesn''t recover his memories, Lyse will fall apart too. Who knows how badly it could affect her? She might even be depressed.

"She''s already lost Jasper''s love. She can''t lose Dad''s love as well... That would destroy her."

"I know. Lyse is my sister too. Of course I know how much she''s hurting." Jonah rubbed his face hard, his movements sluggish with despair. When he spoke again, his voice was hoarse, like a man who had wandered the desert for days without water. "I''ll do everything I can to reach Julien. I don''t care if I have to kneel before him every single day-as long as he''s willing to help."

With trembling fingers, he raised his phone and dialed Julien''s number again.

Once again, however, he was met with Julien''s voicemail; his phone was still switched off.

"What''s going on?" Colene said anxiously as she walked over, phone in hand. "I still can''t reach Mandy either. This isn''t normal.

"There''s no way she''d gopletely silent when something this serious has happened to Winston. Even if she couldn''te back, she would''ve contacted us.

"What should we do? I''m really worried!"

    Everyone exchanged uneasy looks.

They had been so consumed with Alyssa''s copse that none of them had noticed Mandy''s prolonged absence.

Where could she have vanished to at such an hour?

With a serious look on his face, Liam asked, "What was thest time you saw Mandy?"

"This morning," L replied immediately. "After lunch, she said she was heading out for a bit. She hasn''te back since. I just called Mr. Anderson-he said she never returned to Heightsnew Vi."

Axel followed up with another question. "What about Lovce Group?"

"I''ll call her secretary right now."

Colene immediately rang Mandy''s secretary up, only to receive the same answer rk had. "No... Mandy wasn''t at the office either."

A heavy silence descended on the room. An unspoken sense of dread crept into everyone''s hearts.

At the same time, Jonah still couldn''t reach Julien. No matter how many times he called, the phone remained powered off.

The disappearance of the Lovce aunt and nephew was inexplicable. No matter how they rationalized it, a cold sense of unease settled over them.

    Jonah''s chest tightened, and his

    gaze sharpened. "Retrieve all

surveince footage from the hospital-indoors and

outdoors immediately. We need to determine whether Mandy left on her own or was taken by someone.

"We also need to trace where she went. As for Julien, I''ll contact every acquaintance

he has in Sna City. If that fails, I''ll go straight to his ce myself.

"Let''s divide and conquer. Keep your phones on and stay in constant contact!"

    ...

Meanwhile, in the underground parking lot, Justin sat inside a top-tier, limited-edition Maybach, his eyes closed as he rested quietly.

Of course, he wanted to be by Alyssa''s side. But the Taylors guarded her like an imprable fortress, leaving him without even the slightest chance to approach.

His brows knitted together. A rare trace of restless agitation surfaced on his otherwiseposed face.

Unable to hold back any longer, Sheryl asked cautiously, "Mr. Justin, did you know that memory loss was a side effect of that medication? Or were you unaware of it?" "Take a guess," Justin replied lightly, an insincere smile flickering across his lips.

    Sheryl blinked, momentarily

    stunned. "You knew, didn''t you?

    Someone as meticulous as you

    would certainly understand the

effects and side effects of every

    medication involved."

"I knew," Justin admitted calmly. "I just didn''t expect the impact to be so severe-

that Winston would forget his most cherished daughter altogether."

He chuckled softly, almost indulgently. "I suppose this is what happens when age finally catches up to us."

His lips curved further, revealing a

faint hint of pleasure. "It''s not necessarily a bad thing. The more peopleyse loses, the easier. it bes for me to find a way into her heart."

Sheryl pressed her lips together, not daring to respond.

Suddenly, her tablet lit up with a real-time tracking alert.

She quickly tapped into the notification. Her eyes widened as she turned the screen toward Justin.

"Mr. Justin," she said urgently, "look at this!"
