Little Neen blinked, “Really? Then why didn’t Sister wait until I had my vacation before going to Uncle Liu’s house?”
Zhan Muchen said, “Sister needs to go to Uncle Liu’s house first to help you tidy up your room, and then she’ll go see what fun things there are to do. Once you get there
, she’ll take you to y.” “So Sister went first not because she doesn’t like you. Our Little Neen is the cutest, who wouldn’t like you? We all like you very much. Of course, we like you even more if you don’t cry.”
Little Neen immediately raised her hand to rub her eyes and said, “Big brother, I won’t cry, I’m very good. Sister said I can’t cry, if I cry, she won’t take me to Uncle Liu’s house.”
“So Little Neen must not cry, you have to be happy. Our Little Neen is so cute when she smiles, and Big brother loves to see you smile.”
“I’ll smile, I’ll smile every day. Big brother, where are you going now?”
Little Neen asked.
She could tell that Big brother was about to leave.
Zhan Muchen put him down and said, “Big brother is going to the hotel to pick up your cousin Yangyang. He’ll being over for dinner today, along with two other distinguished guests.”
“I want to go with big brother!”
Little Neen immediately requested. “I haven’t seen cousin Yangyang in so long!”
Zhan Muchen hesitated slightly but agreed to the little guy’s request.
He went back inside to tell his parents that Little Neen wanted to go with him to pick up his cousin.
Serenity said to Little Neen, “Neen, don’t go. Why don’t you stay home and y with your aunt?”
“No, I want to go with big brother!”
Zachary also said, “Stay home. When your brothers get up, you’ll have someone to y with. Your big brother has to go back to the city, which is a bit far. You’ll be bored on the bus.”
“I want to go with big brother.”The little guy insisted on going to the hotel with Zhan Muchen.
Zachary had no choice but to say to his son, “Baby, then you take Neen with you, but take good care of him.”
“Okay.”
Zhan Muchen took his little cousin’s hand and was about to leave when Serenity stopped the two brothers. She went to get two toys and handed them to Neen, saying, “Take your usual toys with you. You can y with them in the car so you won’t get bored.”
They had watched the little guy grow up and knew his character very well.
He liked going out with his older siblings, but he couldn’t sit still for more than ten minutes in the car.
Then every few minutes he would ask when they would arrive, saying he was bored, or he would fuss for an adult to give him a phone to y with. However, the adults in the family usually wouldn’t let him y with a phone, for fear that he would be addicted.
Short trips were fine; they could coax him until they arrived.
But if it was a long trip, requiring more than an hour’s drive, unless he fell asleep, he would be noisy the whole way. Taking Neen out was really troublesome.
Not just anyone could coax him. He wasn’t afraid of even his parents; the only ones he was afraid of were his older brothers and sisters.
So, the only way to keep him quiet is to have a few people he’s afraid of in the car.
If his toys are with him, he’ll sit still the whole way.
The little guy took his toy from Serenity’s hand, “Thank you, Auntie.”
Serenity bent down and patted his head, “When big brother is driving, you have to be quiet, okay?”
“Auntie, I will. I won’t bother big brother while he’s driving.”
“Auntie trusts Neen.”
