Through the eyes of my alpha Chapter 48
RILEY “I just don’t feel that I am ready to be a Luna just yet. Give me a little more time, Riley.” Her
words keep ringing in my head. I wanted to understand her, but a part of me felt that she didn’t want to
be officially a part of me. But I didn’t voice my concern. Maybe she just really needed time to get used
to everything.
So I tried my best to shove off any bad thoughts running in my head, especially the one telling me that
she didn’t want to stay here for good.
“Do you want more?
” Nadia asked, snapping me out of my thoughts, and my eyes darted to her, meeting her dark brown
eyes before I lowered my gaze to my te.
I didn’t even notice she had been cing food on my te.
“More…” I smiled at her and she obliged, cing more meat on my te before covering it with sauce.
“Thank you,” I told her in a low voice, and she just smiled back at me before cing food on her te.
Lady Katarina and Lady Sofia stayed for dinner, but my Gamma couple were not with us since it was
Gamma Sebastian’s mother’s birthday.
“Riley, we were wondering if you had an idea about Katarina’s iming?
” My eyes squinted as I stared at Nadia, forcing the meat into my mouth as I waited for her to continue.
“What do you know about it?
” I shrugged my shoulders and answered nonchntly.
“Aeon would be iming Katarina on the next iming.
That’s all I know.
” “Is there a way out?
” “I seriously have no idea.
I never dwell on the iming so I’m no use when ites to that.

” Nadia asked me, and I felt useless because I knew I couldn’t.

And Aeon.
I don’t meddle with family affairs, especially of another Alpha.

” Katarina said, her eyes went to my Beta and my Beta’s mouth just dropped open.

” Sofia asked, her eyes widening as if she was too surprised, and I just watched her forehead crease

You can’t just take someone’s boyfriend and im it as yours.

” Katarina eximed in a hushed tone.

” Iughed while my finger was moving in circles on my mate’s thigh under the table.
“My Beta doesn’t have a girlfriend.
” “He told me he has,” Sofia answered, her brows furrowing.

” Dominic added, snickering in his seat.

” Sofia sneered and I just shook my head at their exchange, my eyes staring at Nadia, who seemed to
be amazed looking at them.

” “Alpha Riley, did you know that the first time I met Beta Dominic, he told me he was Alpha Jacob?
And I believed him.
You should reconsider him for a Beta post.
I think he’s just making up stories with everything.
” “Well, that’s interesting.

” I answered in a calm tone, but I was doing my best not tough because I might offend Sofia.

” My Beta replied, a yful smile stered on his lips, and I was under the impression that he enjoyed
riling up Sofia’s anger.

I don’t know how to tell Darvin I didn’t want this without putting him in a bad light.
” “Yeah, and then I’m next.

” “Yes, but I hope at least Darvin will give me a chance to choose who will im me because I’m not
going on a blind iming.

” “If my Alpha allows me.

” Nadia’s question took my attention away from my Beta and Sofia.
“I had no idea what agreement they had with Aeon’s pack, so I couldn’t really tell,” I answered my mate
before shifting my eyes to Katarina.
“But if anything, Aeon is a good man, Lady Katarina.
Maybe give him a chance, get to know him.
” “Well, that’s the problem.
I’ve been betrothed to this Alpha for more than six months now, but I haven’t seen him even once.

I felt there was more than what he was trying to show.
And it seemed to me that the youngdy had a crush on my Beta too, from the way she was stealing

If anything, it would be better if they ended up together, because I was sure that my Beta had no
chance with Jacob’s sister.
Three Days After.
NADIA I took my time descending the stairs because I was wearing a midthigh-length dress.
I would be having driving lessons with Riley and I know I should be wearing somethingfortable, but
I wanted to look a little extra today, so I opted for a bright yellow sundress.
‘Are you alone in your office?
’ I asked him through our mind link, just to make sure I wouldn’t be disturbing him if he had something
going on inside his office.
‘Yes.

’ He answered, and I didn’t reply anymore as I made my way to him.
I pushed the door open and my eyes found him sitting on his chair with a phone in his hand, and my
eyes rolled automatically, a smile forming on my lips as I walked towards him.
He put the phone down and just watched me approach him.
“Should I be offended that you’re still watching those even if you’re having s*x with me every day?
” He chuckled and pushed back his chair, opening his arms widely so I could take my ce on hisp.
“I just need an extra tip for tonight.
” “Extra tips?

” I pulled away from him and turned half of my body around, my lips trying to suppress myughter.

” He smiled sheepishly.

A red tint started to creep on his cheeks and I found it adorable.

” I bit my lower lip.
I was teasing him, but the moment the words came out of my mouth, I felt my slickness gushing out,
just picturing my mate naked in front of me.

” He grunted, gritting his teeth, and I knew he was fighting for control.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, coiling my fingers in his hair as I kissed back at the same intensity
that he was kissing me, my lips trying to fight for dominance even if I knew I could never win over the

“Hmmm…” I moaned as his tongue parted my lips and thrust inside my mouth, exploring and savoring
all of me.
I felt my core clenching and I was so close to rubbing myself against him, but I knew if we didn’t stop,
he would end up taking me on his office table again as we did yesterday.
Not that I mind, but it’s only ten o’clock in the morning and we just had s*x hours ago.

“I didn’t know driving lessons meant I got to sit on my instructor’sp on the first day?
” Nadia said, giggling after I positioned her on myp.
I had chosen my biggest car, pushed the seat back, and adjusted the steering wheel to give us ample
space, just enough for her to sitfortably on myp.
It’s not really the best car to use for a beginner, but I had no intention of teaching her anything today.
I just wanted my hands on her.
“Well, you’ll be sitting there until you learn how to drive.
” “Riley!
How would I learn?
I don’t even know what I should do, or what to press here.

causing Nadia to panic in myp.
“Wait!
” She let out a deep breath, her hands gripping the steering wheel tightly.
“Okay, now I’m ready.
” A smile etched on my lips as I tapped her hand.
“Rx.
You don’t need to grip it hard.
” Her hold loosened, and I slowly pressed down on the elerator and moved at a steady pace.
“Riley…” Her voice was soft, but it wasced with worries.
“Just straight ahead… You’re doing great.
” I whispered to her before I licked the space below her ear.
“Not fair!
” She eximed, her body stiffening as she tried to hold the wheel steady while my hands grazed over
her thighs.
“Hmmm…” I started peppering her neck with soft kisses and I knew she was getting distracted already
