Chapter 805 A New Inspiration

[Amy: Young Miss! Are you okay? Are you hurt?!]

[Hera: I’m fine. I’m just staying at the hospital to look after Leo.]

[Amy: Oh no! Is Master Leo alright?!]

[Hera: He... I believe he’ll be okay.]

[Amy: Do you need a change of clothes, Young Miss?]

Hera then nced down at her clothes and only just realized she was still wearing the fitted body suit that hugged her curves — no wonder so many eyes had been on her. Earlier, she’d been too lost in her thoughts, spiraling into overthinking to notice anything else.

But now that she was finally taking in her surroundings, she saw that quite a few people — men and even some women — were ncing her way. A few quickly averted their eyes the moment she looked up, making it obvious they’d been checking her out.

Her face instantly flushed red. While Athena always praised her hourss figure, Hera still wasn’t used to this kind of attention. Embarrassed, she quickly typed a reply to Amy.

[Hera: Yes, please. Prepare somefortable clothes for me — I’ll be staying at the hospital for a little while. Also, I’ll be flying to France in a few days. You can get the details from Liz or Athena about the exact date.]

[Amy: Miss, is it for the jewelrypetition?]

    [Hera: Yes.]

[Amy: Oh! Miss Goldsmith and Miss Athena actually stopped by a little while ago. They returned your car keys and dropped off your invitation, flight ticket, and everything else rted to thepetition. They organized everything into a folder and gave me the departure details.]

[Hera: Oh, so they’ve alreadye by.]

[Amy: Yes, Young Miss. Since you’ll be staying at the hospital, I’ll pack a separate luggage for you to take to France so you’ll have a change of clothes ready whenever you need them. That way, you won’t have to rush out to buy anything.]

[Hera: Thank you, Amy. Please also inform the bodyguards about the travel schedule so they can prepare in advance. They just need to pick me up from the hospital when it’s time.]

[Amy: Understood, Young Miss. Please don’t forget to eat properly.]

[Amy: Would you like Hannah to prepare your meals and have them delivered to the hospital?]

[Hera: No need. The food here at Zhane’s hospital actually looks pretty good. Just consider this your chance to take a little break—go visit your family while I’m here.]

    [Amy: Thank you, Young Miss!]

    [Hera: You’re wee!]

[Hera: Oh, and one more thing—could you please bring this with you when youe? (Image_attached)]

    [Amy: Got it!]

    [Amy: d(-_^)]

Hera slumped back onto the table, avoiding everyone’s eyes as she pretended not to notice their lingering gazes. The awkwardness was getting to her—but just in time, Zhane arrived with a tray of food he had ordered.

There was chicken soup infused with herbs, a bowl of warm rice, steamed vegetables, pickles, and a fewforting side dishes. Zhane had carefully chosen a meal that wasn’t fancy or extravagant, but nourishing and homey—exactly what Hera needed right now. She was feeling emotional, and this kind offort food was far more valuable than any gourmet dish.

As Zhane quietly ced each item in front of her, Hera couldn’t help but break into a wide grin.

’This man,’ she thought, ’really does have high emotional intelligence.’ He could read her mood and respond with thoughtful actions that matched her feelings.

Before she knew it, her appetite had returned. She finished two bowls of rice and kept refilling her soup. The chicken broth was not only nutritious but deeply satisfying—and every time Zhane ced more food in her bowl, Hera just nodded eagerly, too busy eating to speak.

For Zhane, seeing Hera eating well brought him a sense of relief. It meant she had begun to stabilize her emotions and wasn’t caught in a spiral of overthinking anymore. She had likely sorted out her thoughts and found a sense of direction.

After all, moping around wouldn’t help either her or Leo. What she needed to do now was keep moving forward while waiting for Leo’s recovery.

They both knew that if Leo were to wake up and see Hera looking exhausted and worn down—having passed up opportunities just to stay by his side—he’d be heartbroken. Rather than feeling touched, Leo would only me himself for holding her back and making her worry so much.

Not long after Hera and Zhane finished their meal, Amy arrived carrying a duffle bag and a paper bag. Hera immediately reached for the paper bag and peeked inside. Upon seeing what she had been waiting for, a bright smile lit up her face as she looked at Amy gratefully.

She took both bags from her, and then she and Zhane made their way back to his office. Just then, Cindy appeared, looking for Hera to ry some information. As Amy was about to leave, she and Cindy exchanged a polite nod before Amy departed.

Cindy then stepped forward and offered to help Hera with the duffle bag. The two women headed toward the elevator, and while Zhane noticed the interaction, he chose to remain silent and followed them from behind.
