Chapter 755 A Tip

Liz blinked a few more times, staring at her phone’s ck screen before scrambling to grab it. But just as she did, Hera and Athena stood up, preparing to leave.

For a brief moment, Liz hesitated—should she run after them or stay rooted in ce, dumbfounded? In the end, she and her assistant quickly followed Hera out of the building.

Her assistant carried therge velvet box as they made their way to the parking area. Fortunately, the earlier crowd had long since dispersed.

However, upon reaching Hera’s hypercar, the assistant paused momentarily, hesitating before cing the box in the sleek vehicle’s passenger seat, as carefully as she could, not wanting to scratch the leather seat while taking a quick nce over its interior.

The assistant nced at Liz, unsure whether to speak—her boss lookedpletely dazed, as if her soul had left her body. Mechanically, Liz raised a hand, waving absentmindedly at Hera and Athena as they drove off.

Only when the car disappeared from view did the assistant finally nudge Liz out of her trance. "Miss, are you tired?" she asked cautiously.

Liz blinked rapidly as if regaining her senses, then suddenly grabbed her assistant and all but dragged her back into thepany. Once inside her office, she locked the door, lowered her head, and stood still.

The assistant grew concerned, thinking something was wrong. ’Had Miss Liz just realized a problem with the transaction? Was she feeling overwhelmed?’ But before she could ask, Liz suddenly let out an ear-piercing squeal.

"Ahhhh!!! I’m rich! I’m rich!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, waving her phone in excitement.

She had already felt like she hit the jackpot with the $140 million order from Hera—fully paid in cash. But just when she thought it couldn’t get any better, Hera surprised her with an additional gift, calling it a tip.

If it had been just a few thousand dors, Liz would have simply been happy. But Hera had actually sent her $5 million—directly to her personal bank ount. Unlike the main payment, which had to go through thepany’s books, this tip bypassed all the usualplications, nding in Liz’s ount with no strings attached.

As a jewelry designer, Liz had the freedom to set the price of her creations, with thepany taking a share of the profits after a piece was sold. However, since Hera had not only designed the jewelry herself but also provided the raw jade, Liz’s workshop had only contributed manpower and equipment.

The $140 million alone was already an unbelievable windfall for thepany—but an extra $5 million on top of that?

Liz gripped her phone, heart pounding. ’If this wasn’t the definition of hitting it rich, then what was?!’

The reason Hera gave Liz such a generous tip wasn’t just out of appreciation—it was also a test.

She wanted to see whether Liz would keep the entire amount for herself or if she would distribute it among the artisans and craftsmen who had contributed to fulfilling Hera’s order.

This would give Hera insight into Liz’s true nature—was she someone who could be trusted, or was she easily swayed by profit and personal gain?

So far, Liz had demonstrated strong character and had even selflessly tutored Hera. However, human nature wasplex and not easily deciphered.

Hera wanted to confirm whether Liz was truly as good-natured and straightforward as she seemed—blunt yet honest, much like Athena—or if there were deeper, hiddenyers to her personality.

Besides, Liz had just seen Hera’s ck Dragon Card, and Hera was certain that their involvement would only deepen from here. And, of course, Athena seemed to like Liz, too.

As Hera listened to Sasha’s report, her smile widened while she drove through the streets.

Liz hadn’t wasted any time—she immediately divided the $5 million equally among everyone who had worked on the order. More importantly, she didn’t take credit for it.

Instead, she proudly announced that the client, Hera, was so pleased with their work that she had sent a generous tip, which Liz was happily sharing with them in appreciation of their hard work.

Her employees, exhausted from the rush toplete the order, were overjoyed. Their efforts had truly paid off. To celebrate, Liz even took the entire team out for dinner, striding toward their reserved table with a triumphant grin, basking in the well-earned moment of sess.

"Today, we’re all rich, so we’re going to party!" Liz announced as she marched forward, her team cheering excitedly behind her.

Then, she nudged her assistant with a yful grin. "You know what? Sister Hera just raised my standards so high—I don’t think I’ll ever be satisfied with a man who only gives the bare minimum. If he’s not spoiling me like Sister Hera, then I don’t need a man at all!"

Her assistant burst intoughter, and even the others who overheard her chuckled. With the unexpected bonus in their pockets, many of them were already making ns to buy gifts for their families at the mallter.

Hera listened to everything Liz said through Liz’s microphone, thanks to Sasha hacking into Liz’s phone and connecting it to Hera’s car. Every word yed loud and clear, making Hera chuckle as she navigated through the traffic.

"Sister Hera, are you happy with the result?" Sasha’s voice came through her earpiece, her tone filled with curiosity.

"Yes, continue supporting the Goldsmith. We can’t allow people like them to be trampled on," Hera instructed cheerfully.
