Chapter 724 Hera’s Drugged

Zen’s heart pounded—if anyone noticed her unusual behavior, it could easily be captured in a photo. As a celebrity, he couldn’t afford a scandal, and neither could Athena. Thest thing they needed was for people with ill intentions to twist this situation into something far worse.

So, without hesitation, he discreetly guided Athena away, mirroring Luke’s exit.

Zhane, Dave, and Rafael had already noticed Hera’s unusual state and had been keeping a close watch from the sidelines.

The moment they saw Luke leading her away, their eyes locked onto his, and his pointed look spoke volumes. Luke was furious—his expression was dark with barely restrained anger.

That was all the confirmation they needed. Their suspicions had been correct. Something was seriously wrong. Without hesitation or a single word exchanged, the three of them started moving toward the exit to follow Luke.

But just as they were about to leave, the same woman from earlier stepped in their way, her demeanor shifting into something coy and flirtatious. She batted hershes and bit her lip, acting shy yet seductive, deliberately obstructing their path.

    "Sir, shall we dance together?"

Zhane, Dave, and Rafael had no interest in stopping, let alone entertaining a conversation. Without sparing her a nce, they sidestepped, intent on walking away—but the woman mirrored their movement, deliberately blocking their path.

To make matters worse, Alice suddenly stepped forward, her earlier embarrassment seemingly forgotten, as if it had never even happened.

"Hera is dancing with Mr. Greyson. Can one of you at least be kind enough to dance with me?" she asked, her voice soft, her expression sincere. She smiled gently, looking helpless—like she simply wanted to avoid being the odd one out.

But the three men weren’t fooled.

Zhane, Rafael, and Dave’s eyes narrowed as they scrutinized the women in front of them. Not even for a second did they rule out the possibility that Alice—or one of the others—was behind Hera’s predicament.

The pieces were falling into ce: the waiter had initially tried to serve the wine to them, but they had refused. Instead, Hera had unknowingly walked into the trap meant for them.

They had encountered these kinds of underhanded schemes far too often to be caught off guard. It was always the same—someone trying to drug them, luring them into apromising situation, only for the media to "coincidentally" find out.

    The goal?

To force them into a scandalous entanglement, leaving them no choice but to take responsibility and enter a rtionship with the woman involved. Otherwise, their reputation would be shredded beyond repair.

And now, seeing Alice and the other woman deliberately blocking their way, acting coy and innocent, only deepened their suspicions.

Following this line of reasoning, the mastermind behind the drugging incident could be anyone.

However, if Hera was the true target, their first suspicion would naturally fall on Alice. After all, destroying a woman’s innocence and reputation was exactly the kind of scheme a vindictive person would orchestrate.

It wouldn’t be the first time something like this had happened, but since Hera wasn’t the intended target from the beginning, they couldn’t pin everything on Alice just yet. For now, she remained one of the prime suspects.

Rafael snapped. "Step aside!" His voice was loud enough to draw the attention of nearby guests, causing several heads to turn toward themotion.

The woman who had initially blocked their path shrank back slightly in embarrassment, but she stubbornly refused to move, her hungry gaze flickering between the men as if stalling for time.

Alice, on the other hand, maintained a look of feigned innocence, as if she had been wronged.

Seeing their suspicious behavior only strengthened Rafael, Zhane, and Dave’s doubts that the two might be involved in the drugging.

Their contrasting reactions—one acting guilty and the other ying the victim—suggested they could be working separately yet toward the same goal.

If that were the case, the original targets might have been the men themselves. However, these were just spections for now.

Investigating the truth could wait—Hera needed help, and by this point, Luke had likely already reached the exit.

Not wanting to waste time arguing, Rafael shoved the woman aside and strode forward, with Zhane and Dave following close behind. However, Alice and the other woman refused to give up, trailing after them like persistent shadows.

Just as Rafael was about to reach the exit, he suddenly halted in his tracks. A strange heat was spreading through his body—slow at first, then intensifying rapidly.

His muscles tensed, an ufortable tightness coiled low in his abdomen and he felt his cock growing hard. A realization struck him like a bolt of lightning—he had been drugged.

But when? How? He couldn’t recall drinking or eating anything suspicious. Yet, the undeniable effects were setting in, his body betraying him with each passing second.

Rafael’s vision blurred as his eyes burned red with heat. The woman stepped in front of him again, this time rushing forward to "support" him. But Rafael wasn’t fooled. He saw the calcting flicker in her gaze—she knew he was drugged, and she was nning to take advantage of it.

Without hesitation, Rafael shoved her away—hard. Right now, he didn’t care about appearances or being polite to a woman. He wasn’t about to let himself be manipted into a trap.

Turning to his friends for help, he was met with a sinking realization—Dave and Zhane were struggling too. Their faces were flushed, their bodies unsteady, and their eyes clouded with confusion and difort. They were drugged as well.
