Chapter 667 Being Her Model

"No need to thank me, it’s my job to help people as a doctor," Zhane replied, his voice modest.

But deep inside, he couldn’t help but feel a warmth spread through his chest. Thepliment, ing from the one he loved, stirred something inside him—a blooming feeling that made his heart feel fuller, a sensation he hadn’t quite expected but was grateful for nheless.

As the elevator reached the ground floor, both Rafael and Zhane reluctantly stepped out, their cars parked in a separate lot outside since they weren’t residents of the building. With the elevator doors closing, Hera waved a brief goodbye to them, her hand lingering for a moment as they disappeared from view. The elevator descended to the basement, where her Bugatti La Voiture Noire awaited. Once the doors opened, Hera headed straight to her car, slipping inside before driving off with a quiet hum of the engine, the city stretching out ahead of her.

    Ring...

"Hello?" Hera answered, the Bluetooth headphonesfortably nestled in her ear.

"Babe, where are you? We need to finish the dress fittings."

"I’m on my way. By the way, how long is the fitting going to take?"

"Oh, just an hour, max. We’re kind of in a rush. I’m so happy you agreed to be my model this season! I’m practically bouncing off the walls with excitement, trying to make the most of this moment." Athena’s voice practically squealed with joy.

"Of course! This is your first fashion show, and I’ll support you however I can."

"I honestly thought you might not make it..." Athena teased, her tone light but hinting at a yful pout.

"That won’t happen. I was in Barcelona for a few days and missed some of your calls, but luckily, I was able to get the details about your uing fashion show. It gave me the motivation to wrap things up there as quickly as I could."

The two best friends chatted briefly on the phone until Hera finally reached her destination.

Just as Athena had mentioned, the moment Hera arrived, she was immediately ushered inside by Athena’s assistant.

The atmosphere inside the building was buzzing with energy, as everyone rushed around like busy bees, carrying fabrics and coordinatingst-minute details. Amid the flurry, Hera spotted Athena, who was bncing an armful of fabrics while expertly maneuvering in her high heels.

When Athena caught sight of Hera, she quickly passed the fabrics off to her assistant and practically dragged Hera toward the fitting room.

The dresses were already neatly arranged, waiting for Hera to slip into them. Without wasting a moment, Hera entered the fitting room, and one of the assistants followed her in to help with the intricate details of the dresses.

While some of the designs were a littleplicated to put on, overall, the dresses were breathtaking — unique, stylish, and full of personality, just like Athena’s vision.

When Hera stepped out of the dressing room in the first dress, the room instantly erupted in apuse.

The crowd’s pping was not only a recognition of the hard work put into the dress but also an appreciation for how Herapletely owned it the moment she wore it.

She had effortlessly transformed the dress into her own statement.

However, as she stood there, the experienced eyes of the team quickly noted a few necessary adjustments — the bust size was a bit too small, and the waist was slightly toorge, which disrupted the intended silhouette just a touch.

Despite the minor ws, the dress still had an undeniable elegance, and the energy in the room remained electric.

Hera was about to change into the next dress when, to her surprise, Athena squeezed inside the fitting room, pushing the assistant out with a yful grin.

Athena immediately began helping Hera, adjusting the pins around her waist to ensure a better fit.

But, in reality, Athena wasn’t there to offer her expert assistance—because the assistant could have handled it just as easily.

    No, Athena had other ns.

She hade into the fitting room for one very important reason: gossip. With a mischievous twinkle in her eye, Athena wasted no time, diving straight into thetest tidbits.

"So, I see your breast has grown a bit since Ist saw you," Athena teased, her eyes scanning Hera’s figure with a grin. "I can’t be imagining things, can I? I’ve made you clothes just a few weeks ago, and I remember your measurements well. Did your... ’ six gardeners’ help with that?" She smirked yfully as she nced at Hera’s cleavage, which was teasingly visible thanks to the deep plunging neckline of the dress.

"Has it been watered with love every night while I’ve been out of the loop?" Athena chuckled, clearly enjoying the tease.

Hera’s face flushed crimson, and she found herself choking on her saliva, unable toe up with a retort.

Athena’sugh only made the situation worse, and Hera couldn’t help but feel embarrassed.

Athena walked around Hera, giving her a once-over before adding with a mischievous grin, "Your waist has definitely slimmed down, and your skin feels so much softer. Is this what they call the ’afterglow’ from... love?"

She continued to tease Hera, watching as her face flushed deeper with each word. Athena’s knowing smile only grew as she realized her suspicions were spot on.

Hera, embarrassed and unable to hide her reaction, made it all too clear that Athena had hit the nail on the head.
