Dave hurriedly exined, "I didn’t do anything, but she was drugged. I need you to check on her."


    Hera, sitting in the back with Leo, was speechless. Dave seemed to havepletely forgotten that Leo was the one who had been heavily drugged. He then instructed the nurse to apany him to the designated parking lot of the hospital to meet with an important individual. "Alright! Hurry up!!! I’ll be waiting at the designated parking lot," he ordered, not bothering to wait for Dave’s response and hang up the call before diving into his tasks. Zhane meticulously ensured that everything was in order before joining the nurse at the parking lot.


    Shortly thereafter, the hotel’s car pulled into the designated parking lot, where Zhane, along with nurses and several doctors, awaited their arrival. Zhane’s impatience was palpable as he rushed towards the car, eager to greet Hera. Without waiting for the car toe to aplete stop, he attempted to open the rear door. Dave swiftly unlocked it, granting Zhane immediate ess to Hera.


    Without hesitation, Zhane swept Hera out of her seat, startling her into instinctively clinging to his neck, her face pressed against his chest. Amidst the chaos, Hera could hear Zhane’s heart pounding wildly, a testament to his nervousness and fear.     Upon hearing Hera’s flustered yet unmistakably clear voice, Zhane nced down at the woman in his arms. A small sigh of relief escaped him, reassured by her ability tomunicate effectively. If Hera could still speak clearly, it indicated that she wasn’t in dire straits.


    "Zhane, would you mind putting me down?" Hera’s voice carried a mix of concern and frustration as she pouted, attempting to peer over Zhane’s shoulder to catch a glimpse of Leo still inside the car.


    Zhane couldn’t help but notice Hera’s adorable pout, but he remained resolute in his decision to ensure her safety by personally escorting her for examination. "No, be good, we’ll go inside for the examination, once we are sure that you’re fine, only then will I let you go." Zhane insisted firmly, unwilling to ept any objections when Hera’s well-being was at stake.


    "But I’m not the one who needs your attention!" Hera eximed, her tone tinged with frustration. With each passing moment of dy, Leo’s condition could worsen, heightening her concern for him. She gestured urgently over Zhane’s shoulder towards the car behind him. Zhane instinctively followed her gaze, his eyes falling upon the man still seated inside the car. His cold demeanor mirrored by his icy stare sent a chill down Zhane’s spine.


    Unwavering, Zhane maintained hisposure, refusing to falter in the silent exchange of gazes. Meeting Leo’s piercing stare head-on, Zhane disyed no hint of hesitation or intimidation.
