“So what did she say Alpha ?” Jayden asked me teasingly and I smiled.
“We have a date” I said and Jayden raised his eyebrows at me.
“Just like that? that seemed easier than I thought it will be” he said In amusement.
“Women who make things act fast are mostplicated ones trust me” I said and he chuckled.
“Have you tried finding your mate Jayden? you are my friend and you are not getting any younger” I said and he chuckled.
“I don’t think that is necessary right now, I have a duty towards the pack” he said and I chuckled.
“You have done extremely well ever since you took over as the beta Jayden, It is high time you have some fun” I said patting him on the shoulder.
“I have heard you Alpha Xavier” he said and I gave a nod.
“I have to start preparing for my meeting with Rachel” I said and he smiled teasingly.
“Have fun” he muttered under his breath.
The drive towards the resturant was a quiet one I stopped by on my way to get some flower
“Wee to our resturant sir” the guard at the door said politely as I walked in. I was ushered to the table and I sat down while scrolling through my phone I ordered for a bottle of wine while waiting patiently for Rachel.
It’s been thirty minutes and there was still no sign of Rachel I was already thinking about leaving the resturant when I sighted her from a distant.
Looking all ssy and professional, one thing I liked about her was the way she carried herself with pride, her formal pants and jacket made her look exactly like the sessful billionaire that she was.
“Hey, I am so sorry about the time I just had something important to finish at the office” she said and I gave a nod as I gestured towards the chair.

“Good to see you again Mr X” she said and I gave a nod as I stared at her.
“it is good to see you too Rachel, you call me Xavier” I said and she smiled politely. “Okay Xav” she said and I sucked under my breath as my heart squezed in hurt I raised my eyebrows and our eyes met for a second before I looked away.
“Are you okay Xav, did I say anything wrong?” she asked worriedly and I felt the spark again Immediately our hands met.
“No no it’s okay, it is just I’m not reallyfortable with someone calling me Xav” I said and she looked really curious.
“Why? Xav is like a nickname from your name Xavier, I just thought…” she trailed.
“I am notfortable with someone calling me Xav” I said as the grip on my phone got a bit tight.
“Do you mind me asking what your reasons are foring up with that decision?” she asked and I shook my head.
“It is kinda personal” I said and she gave a nod in understanding.
“I guess we are sticking with Xavy then” she said and I chuckled.
“How did youe up with that?” I asked and she burst outughing I froze on the spot at how beautiful she looked in that moment. There was just something so familiar about Rachel I couldn’t pick point my hand on what it was.
“It is the Rachel magic you see” she said and Iughed.
“I didn’t deem you as someone who had such a good sense of humor Rachel, I have heard things about you and the first impression I had of you wasn’t really pleasant you see” I said and she smirked.
“Rumours, that is all they’ll ever be” she said and I gave a nod.
“So…. tell me about yourself” I said as she checked the menu on the table.
“There is nothing interesting about me” she said and I shook my head.
“Let me be the judge of that” I said and she ced the menu on the table.
“I’m just a normal girl Xavier” she said and I gave a nod.

“I see you are just trying to be humble, there is nothing normal about you take my word for it I said and she smiled.
“It’s okay if you have your reservations am sorry for meddling” I said and she stared at me nkly.
“I didn’t think you were meddling Xavier, I just think we haven’t gotten to that point yet “she said and I gave a nod in understanding.
We talked about random stuffs while having lunch the more I found out, the more intruiging she was to me.
“How about we do this some other time?” I asked as we walked out together.
“That will be lovely Mr X, I mean Xavy ” she said making my heart flutter.
“You are an interesting woman Rachel” I said and she smiled
“I think I can say that about you too Xavier’ she said as she got close to me I froze on the spot as I felt her l*ps on my cheeks just before my l*ps.
“Have a nice day ahead” she said and I watched her as catwalk out of the scene like
queen.
“F uck F uck” I cursed under my breath as I ran my fingers on my face.
“You are so whipped” Rolfe said mockingly.
“I am not whipped, I thought you were attracted to her too” I said and he fell silent for at while.
“We don’t even know what she is Xavier, I can’t attest if she is human or Werewolf doesn’t that scare you?” he asked in concern.
“Rachel is harmless” I said meaning every single word of it.
“Don’t tell me you are in love” he said and I gasped.
“What no, I literally just met her am just curious about her it is nothing serious” I said and he fell silent.
The ride back to the office was a quiet one I got a call from Jayden that made me go straight to the pack.

“Yes I did, they would be released on the inte by tommorow morning am certain of the fact that he will recieve the shock of his life” she said and Iughed as I took a sip. from the ss of wine in my hand.
“I’m calling it a night now babe, I am so f ucking tired” Penny said as she walked out of

“I should check up on Damian too” I said and tied the ropes of my Nightwear as I walked towards his room.

I have a new friend now and we have lots of fun together hee is very shy and cute, but I like him he said and my heart warmed up I looked away as my eyes stung with tears. If only Xavier did not seperate me from my children Damien and his brother would be together now.
“When do I get to meet this interesting friend of yours?” I asked and he smiled.

Damien liked to read about mystical creatures half way through the book he slept off, I watched him snore cutely.
