<h4>Chapter 1007: Chapter 1007: Future President’s Wife</h4>


    Hayes Simmons narrowed his eyes slightly: "It’s just a marriage arranged by my family, I haven’t agreed to it."


    Ste Nelson was startled, her eyes brightened for a moment but soon dulled: "So what? I know you are very obedient to your parents, eventually, you will marry the woman they arranged for you."


    "There are some things I can’t say to you here." Upon closer inspection, Hayes Simmons’ eyes were bloodshot, and there was a hint of fatigue between his brows, his spirit wasn’t good. He still reached his hand out to Ste Nelson, saying word by word, "Ste,e with me. I won’t take up much of your time, just need an hour, just give me one hour, okay?"


    Ste Nelson frowned deeply, with a hint of hesitation in her eyes.


    Just then, Scarlett Yates gently nudged her: "Ste, talk to him."


    Ste Nelson said that Hayes Simmons never truly cared about her, it was all wishful thinking on her part.


    But seeing Hayes Simmons now, Scarlett Yates felt the truth might not be as Ste imed.


    At least, from Hayes Simmons’ eyes, she saw care. When he looked at Ste Nelson, his gaze wasn’t indifferent or cold.


    Those bloodshot eyes also carried a simrly bleak expression.


    Ste Nelson hesitated for a long time, but finally handed her hand to Hayes Simmons.


    Hayes Simmons grabbed her hand tight, holding it firmly in his palm.


    Amongst the sea of people, the pair with fingers interlocked soon disappeared without a trace.


    Scarlett Yates had a strong premonition; things between Hayes Simmons and Ste Nelson wouldn’t end just like this. Although she didn’t know what Hayes Simmons was going to say, she had a feeling these words might change their current rtionship.


    She never hoped for her premonition toe true so urgently before.

    Standing under Seymour Tower again, Scarlett Yates couldn’t help but recall the situation the first time she came here.


    Back then, Matthew Saxon still had an arrogant demeanor, as if all the women in the world wanted to cling to him, that smug and arrogant appearance was really annoying, she almost wanted to punch him.


    Given that the whole of Z City knew about her impending marriage to Matthew Saxon, Seymour’s employees were even more aware, as Scarlett Yates walked into the tower, she received exceptional treatment.


    From a distance, the receptionist smilingly shouted, "Hello, Miss Yates."


    Before Scarlett Yates could speak, the receptionist respectfully said, "The President has given orders, when Miss Yates arrives, she should be taken directly to his office."


    Saying this, a pretty receptionist walked up to her, although not bowing at ny degrees, her attitude was extremely respectful: "Miss Yates, please follow me."


    The receptionist led Scarlett Yates directly into the President’s exclusive elevator.


    Along the way, other employees greeted her politely as Miss Yates.


    This attitude inherently treated her as the future wife of the President.


    The elevator went straight to the floor where Matthew Saxon was.


    When the receptionist escorted Scarlett Yates to the President’s office, she encountered Matthew Saxon’s secretary.


    Toward the secretary, the receptionist was also very respectful, politely greeting: "Secretary Ayles."


    The mature, beautiful, and sexy secretary Lena Ayles adjusted the sses on her nose, and upon seeing Scarlett Yates again, there was no longer the contempt and disdain from the first time in her eyes.
