    Scarlett Yates listened silently, nodded after hearing it all, and said a bit guiltily, "George, you’re right. He’s been so good to me, I feel sorry for him for doing things that made him angry."


    Seeing Scarlett Yates’s reaction, George breathed a sigh of relief.


    As long as her heart hasn’t truly been broken by the Young Master, things will be much easier.

    The car stopped right next to her.


    The window rolled down, and as her heart began to race faster, it slowly revealed a demonically handsome face.


    In the dim light, a pair of beautiful, mischievous eyes looked straight at her.


    The owner of these beautiful eyes seemed to frown when he saw her, his lips tightly pressed, looking rather unhappy.


    Scarlett Yates sensibly turned around, trying to move to a ce where he couldn’t see her.


    Seeing her now makes him angry, so it’s better she avoids him.


    "Scarlett Yates, where are you going?" Just as she turned around, a cold voice came from behind.


    In the low, icy voice, there seemed to be a hint of anger, along with a touch of dissatisfaction.


    Before Scarlett Yates could respond, the icy voice rang out again: "You just don’t want to see me, every time you see me, you want to leave?"


    Scarlett Yates froze.


    She thought he was unhappy seeing her, so she avoided him, but how did it turn into her not wanting him?


    "I tell you to go, and you can’t wait to leave, do you really want to go find Maxwell Saxon?" The person behind seemed to be a bit unreasonable.


    Scarlett Yates remembered clearly she never said anything like that.


    He’s the one who spoke out of turn and said those hurtful words, she never admitted to them.


    "I tell you, don’t think I’ll actually let you two be together, you want to find him, no way!" This voice became increasingly unreasonable.


    Scarlett Yates stood rooted, uncertain of his intentions now.
