Chapter 933: Chapter 933: Who Are You Really

The streetmps on the street were all lit, and the light shone on the white snow piles, reflecting ayer of glistening brightness, particrly beautiful.
Some merchants had snowmen built outside their stores. Looking at those snowmen, Maxwell Saxon thought of the scene in the afternoon when he and Scarlett Yates built a snowman together.
Scarlett, Scarlett...
He repeated her name in his heart twice, and with each repetition, the bitterness in his heart grew stronger.
--
When Scarlett Yates stepped out of the elevator, her phone rang.
Without looking, she already knew who had sent the message.
This phone only stored one person’s number, and so far, only Henry Dales knew her number.
She just remembered that Henry Dales had mentioneding over in the evening to have dinner with her. Judging by the time, it was almost seven o’clock.
She took out her phone and opened the text message.
After reading it, she gave a faint smile and put the phone back.
The text message said Rosie Wood had fallen ill and was hospitalized, and he had to apany her at the hospital.
This was expected; Scarlett Yates had never really thought Henry Dales woulde over.
So when she saw the content of the text, she didn’t feel much emotion.
Henry Dales also said he would find time toe over tomorrow, but Scarlett Yates felt he certainly wouldn’t make it.
She had dealt with Rosie Wood for several years; how could she not know her character?
Whether Rosie Wood was truly ill or not, during this period, she would never let Henry Dales out of her sight.
Rosie Wood was a woman with a strong sense of possession, knowing that Henry Dales had bought a woman, how could she possibly let him go?
When Scarlett Yates took out the key to open the door, the motion-activated lights in the corridor went out. Just as she was about to stomp heavily on the ground, suddenly, the hand holding the key froze, and her body stiffened.
In the darkness, when vision ispromised, the other senses be particrly sharp.
Scarlett Yates instantly sensed there was someone behind her.
A strange aura wafted over from behind her.
In the pitch-ck corridor, Scarlett Yates could hear her heartbeat, fast and urgent, thumping strongly, as if it was about to leap out of her throat.
Cold sweat trickled down her back.
As that unfamiliar presence approached, goosebumps rose all over her body.
"Who?" She struggled to remain calm, not revealing the fear in her heart.
The aura grew closer, nearly touching her back.
Scarlett Yates could no longer bear it and spun around abruptly: "Who are you, and what do you want?"
She shouted loudly.
The motion-activated light finally came back on.
The corridor was no longer pitch ck, and the warm yellow light fell on the person behind her.
When Scarlett Yates saw clearly who was behind her, her eyes widened suddenly, and she eximed, "It’s you!"
As soon as this exmation fell, she had no chance to speak again.
She was quickly restrained, and as she was about to call for help, a damp cloth was pressed tightly over her mouth and nose.
--
She didn’t know how long she had been unconscious. When she woke up, Scarlett Yates found her hands and feet tied.
In fact, her limbs had no strength whatsoever, even if she wasn’t tied, she wouldn’t be able to escape.
But the person who drugged her wasn’t assured and tied her up with ropes to be safe.
Scarlett Yates knew who had drugged her.
Before she fainted, she saw that person’s face, a familiar yet hateful face.
