At exactly ten in the morning, the Ramos Corporation''s PR team dropped a bomb on Twitter. The first post was a scan of Tara''s prenatal checkup.
Two sentences were circled in bold red: "Chromosomal karyotype 47, XYY" and "Termination of pregnancy rmended." The caption pulled no punches. "Medical reports don''t lie. The baby''s condition was diagnosed long ago. Was this miscarriage really just an ident?"
Ten minutester, more evidence popped up.
This time, it was a photo of a prescription for abortion pills, signed by Tara herself, dated just one day before the conference.
Then came the full surveince video from the conference.
The footage, slowed down for everyone to see, caught Tara hiding in a hallway, popping pills and washing them down with alcohol. Every move was clear as day.
Even the confrontationter was obvious: after Reese pushed her away, it was clear she used the moment to fall back on purpose. The video tagged Iron Financial''s official ount and Zach''s personal one.
The caption read, "Is Iron Financial really demanding answers from Ramos Corporation, or are they just taking advantage of the chaos?"
It only took half an hour for social media to explode.
Trending hashtags refreshed faster than anyone could keep up: #TaraStagedHerMiscarriage and #IronFinancialcklist. In a sh, the hate that was aimed at Reese flipped and now everyone wasing for Tara.
Inside her VIP hospital suite, Tara nced at the clock on the wall, her lips curled up in a self-satisfied smile as she thought about all the nastyments online about Reese.
The noise in the hallway made her frown. She was about to call the nurse to deal with it when the door burst open and a crowd of reporters rushed in, cameras shing nonstop.
"Ms. Ramos, did you know about your baby''s condition from the start?"
"Did you take abortion pills just to frame Reese?"
"Why did you fake being pushed? Was it all to give Iron Financial an excuse to attack Ramos Corporation?"
The questions kepting, sharper and sharper. Confusion flickered across Tara''s face, then panic. She wentpletely pale, then her cheeks turned bright red under all the cameras and microphones.
What are they talking about?
How did they know she took the pills? How did they figure out she faked the whole scene?
"I don''t know what you''re talking about!" she yelled, covering her head and trying
to hide from the cameras. "Who let you in here? Get out! Get out, all of you!"
"Ms. Ramos, Ramos Corporation has already released proof of what you did at
the conference. Please answer our questions."
"Was this all Mr. Wiles'' idea to go after Ramos Corporation?"
"Why is Iron Financial targeting Ramos Corporation?"
A deep, cold voice cut through the chaos. Zach was standing in the doorway his face tight and stormy. "Iron Financial will hold a press conference to address this soon. For now, please leave."
The room''s energy dropped in an instant. The reporters nced at the huge bodyguards behind Zach, muttered to each other, and finally shuffled out, still grumbling.
"Zach..." Tara looked up, tears streaming down her face. "Don''t listen to them, please. The baby really was Reese''s..."
"You''re still lying to me?" Zach''s voice was low, but the anger in his eyes was impossible to miss.
"You knew from the very beginning the child was sick. You never nned to keep
it. You used this as a way to frame Reese and turn me against her."
He walked over, standing tall over Tara''s hospital bed. The disappointment and fury in his eyes made her shrink back.
"Were you happy when you saw me go after Reese, cutting off Ramos Corporation for you?
"Did you think that once I broke things off with him, everything would be perfect? That you''d finally get to be Mrs. Wiles?
"In just thirty minutes, Iron
Financial''s stock dropped three
percent. That''s almost two hundred
million dors gone, Tara. Do you
really think you can handle the
fallout from this?
"Tara, we''re done. Iron Financial is ending all business with the Ramos family."
"No, Zach, you can''t do this." Tara
grabbed onto his pants leg, her eyes
desperate and pleading "You said
You love me forever. You promised
give me a home."
