Chapter 1416

Evelyn didn''t want to go to bed until after ten. That night, with her arms wrapped around Eleanor''s neck, she suddenly asked, "Mommy, when can Daddy sleep with us?"

Eleanor was lost in thought and was caught off guard by her daughter''s question. She paused, then gently stroked her daughter''s head, changing the subject. "How about we go look at a new house tomorrow?"

Evelyn nodded happily. "Okay! I want a big house with a garden so I can y ball."

"Alright," Eleanor promised with a smile.

The next day at nine-thirty,n drove Eleanor and Evelyn to an exclusive residential area near a private international elementary school.

It was amunity of vis developed for the wealthy, serene and elegant with lush trees and tight security.

The property consisted of two independent three-story vis cleverly connected, sharing a garage and a privatewn. It was said that the previous owners were a wealthy couple who had designed it to raise their child together.

The exterior of the vis was luxurious, withrge ss walls that guaranteed excellent natural light.

But the most appealing feature was the sprawling private garden, which covered over two thousand square feet. It was beautifully maintained, and in one corner of the healthy greenwn, there was a children''s yhouse and a swing set.

"Wow! I love it here!" Evelyn cheered as she ran onto the grass, turning back to her mother. "Mommy, Princess will love it too!"

Eleanor was indeed won over by the garden. She could already picture her daughter and Princess ying here without a care in the world.

The golden light, the lush expanse of green, her daughter''sughter, and the dog''s yful barks—it was a snapshot of the peaceful, grounded life she had once thought was out of reach.

"This part of the neighborhood is more secluded, so it''s private and exceptionally quiet. It should be good for your work,"n said, looking at Eleanor with anticipation in his eyes.

While it wasn''t thergest or most luxurious vi avable—he could have bought one in the most central location-the fact that these two homes were connected made it convenient for them to co-parent their daughter.

"Let''s go see the inside," Eleanor said.

They pushed open the heavy front door to find a move-in ready interior with high-end finishes. There wasn''t much furniture, leaving plenty of room for personalization. The previous owner had been an artist, and the home had a strong design sensibility.

The first floor housed the living room, dining room, and an open-n kitchen, along

with a study featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and separate staff quarters.

The second floor was the bedroom

area. The master suite was incredibly spacious, with a walk-in closet and arge bathroom. There was also one guest bedroom, a children''s room, and a small diving area, the third floor featured a targe terrace with an expansive view and a multi-purpose room.

    Eleanor''s heart was set.

She waspletely satisfied with the vi. The space, the light, theyout, and the garden outside were all ideal.

"Do you like it?"n asked, standing beside her as they looked out at the lush scenery.

"What''s theyout of the one next door?" Eleanor asked curiously.

"These are A and B units; the structure is identical. I''m very pleased with it,"n replied with a smile.

Clearly, he had already decided to move in.

continued, "We''ll be neighbors, but we''ll each have our own independent space. It will be easy to help each other out, especially when you''re busy with work. Of course, it''s just a suggestion. The final decision is yours."

Eleanor lowered her gaze and saw her daughter still running on thewn, apanied by two real estate agents.

"This is the one," Eleanor said with a clear nod.

"Okay," Eleanor agreed, looking up at him. "Thank you for handling everything."
