    Eleanor smiled. In that moment, the atmosphere in the hospital room felt light and sweet, and outside the window, the sun was shining brightly.


    A few minutester, Mayor Gat Ellington pushed the door open. Mansfield asked Eleanor to wait outside for a moment. After a twenty-minute conversation, Gat emerged, a look of anger on his face, but it softened into a gentle expression when he saw Eleanor.

    Eleanor was grateful. "Thank you for your concern, Mayor Ellington."


    "I''ll leave my nephew in your care, then," Gat said gently, a knowing smile in his eyes.


    Eleanor''s face grew slightly warm as she watched him leave.


    When she re-entered the room, Mansfield told her, "Don''t worry. My uncle will handle this. None of them will escape justice."


    Eleanor nodded. With the Ellington family involved, she was confident that the culprits would be held ountable.


    At theb, Serena was watching the news in themon room when she heard footsteps. She turned and shot to her feet in shock. n!" The next second, she rushed over. "What happened to your hair?"

    As his sister reached out to touch his hair,n caught her hand. "I don''t like people touching my hair."


    "What''s wrong with me touching it?" Serena grumbled, but her eyes were filled with deep concern. n, what happened? Why did your hair suddenly go all white?"


    "There''s nothing wrong with white hair. It makes me look mature andposed,"n replied faintly.


    Serena followed behind him, stomping her foot in frustration. "This isn''t about looking mature! Your hair turned white overnight!n, tell me, did Ellie leave you, and you just-"


    Before Serena could finish, she bumped inton''s back. He had stopped, a sh of intense pain crossing his features before he quickly regained hisposure. "It has nothing to do with her. It''s my own issue."


    With that,n walked toward his office. Staring at his tall yet lonely figure, Serena suddenly understood something. She ran after him and hugged him from behind. n no matter what you look like, you''ll always be the best brother to me."


    "I will," Serena promised from behind him. She then immediately ran back to the sofa, picked up her phone, and started searching for ways to reverse white hair.
