Chapter 586

"Jealous, huh?" Bet chuckled softly, his long fingers tilting her chin up. "Want to hear the exnation?"

"I don''t want to hear it," Yvonne said, pushing him away petntly.

"Alright, if you don''t want to hear it, I won''t exin," Bet said in a doting tone, as if coaxing a child.

Yvonne looked up and red at him.

Fine, don''t exin if you don''t want to.

"When are you done?" Bet asked again.

"When are you done?" Yvonne tilted her chin up, firing the question back at him.

"I can be done anytime. You?"

"I have to entertain the brand representatives. I don''t know when I''ll be finished." Bet nodded. "Okay, I''ll wait for you."

"Suit yourself. I should be getting back," Yvonne said, pushing past him and quickly leaving the stairwell.

Bet didn''t stop her, his eyes narrowing slightly as he watched her go.

He stayed in the stairwell, lit a cigarette, and only returned to his private room after he had finished it.

By then, Yvonne was also back in her room, continuing her conversation with Ms. Lee and the others.

As the waiters brought in more dishes, Sandra noticed Ms. Lee had had a bit too much to drink and thoughtfully asked a waiter to bring a kettle of water.

Yvonne stood up to take it.

The waiter recognized Yvonne—it was probably his first time seeing a celebrity up close—and his hands were trembling with excitement.

    "Ms. Jones..."

"Here, let me get that," Yvonne said, reaching for the kettle. But the waiter was so flustered that he lost his grip, and the hot water sshed all over her.

Her white dress was soaked through, the thin fabric clinging to her body and making her bra clearly visible.

Although Ms. Lee was a woman, the client''s party also included thepany''s vice president, a secretary, and the head of public rtions—all men.

Yvonne gasped, instinctively covering her chest.

"The room next door is empty. Go over there, and I''ll have my assistant bring a change of clothes right away, Sandra said, handling the situation calmly as she pulled out her phone to call her assistant.

Yvonne did as she was told and went to the empty room next door.

She sat alone, pulling tissues from the box on the table to blot the water from her clothes, but it was no use. The damp fabric felt incredibly ufortable against her skin.

Just as Yvonne was debating whether to take the dress off, there was a knock on the door.

"That was fast," she said, standing up to open it, only to find Bet standing there, not the assistant.

He was holding a shopping bag and smiling warmly at her.

"Your clothes are here. Go on and change," Bet said, striding into the room and closing the door firmly behind him.

"Give me the clothes. What are you doinging in here?" Yvonne demanded, ring at him.

"I''m here to help you change, of course," Bet said with a lowugh, his arm naturally wrapping around her waist.

Yvonne struggled instinctively, but he easily trapped her between his chest and the wall.

His intense eyes gazed down at her, filled with a mix of desire and amusement. His

long fingers began to unfasten the buttons of her blouse one by one.

"Isn''t it ufortable being in wet clothes? I''ll help you out of them."

"Bet! Don''t you dare," Yvonne hissed, her beautiful, fox-like eyes wide as she stared at him.

    "Shh, don''t shout. The

    soundproofing in these rooms isn''t

    the best, You wouldn''t want

everyone to hear you, would y

    Bet whispered, pressing a long

    finger to her lips.

Yvonne fell silent, giving him onest fierce re.

Bet wasn''t bothered in the slightest. He held her close, slowly peeling the damp

    clothes from her body.

"You''ll catch a cold if you stay in wet clothes for too long. I''m just helping you change. I won''t do anything else."
