    Sandra gave a few more instructions before ending the call.


    After the call, Yvonne subconsciously checked her phone. There were no calls or

    Yvonne held her phone, hesitated for a moment, and then sent Bet a text: What are you doing?


    As expected, there was no reply after she sent the message.


    Yvonne set her phone aside and went back to her book.


    For dinner, Yvonne ate with Tina at the school cafeteria.


    Luna wasn''t with them. She had disappeared before dinner, probably off to see Mr. Ward again.


    After dinner, Yvonne and Tina walked back to their dorm.


    Bet still hadn''t texted back. Yvonne washed up quickly and then went to bed.


    In a different ce, Yvonne didn''t sleep very well. She got up very early the next day.


    "Morning, Yvonne.” Tina was awake too, sitting up in her bed to greet her.

    Tina gossiped before getting out of bed. "Yvonne, let''s hurry and get Teady We still have to get breakfast at the cafeteria, and they''ll run out if we''rete."


    "Okay." Yvonne rubbed her eyes, got out of bed, went to the bathroom to wash up,


    then changed and headed to the cafeteria with Tina.


    After breakfast, they went to prepare for their test.


    On their way to the exam hall, people kept looking at them, whispering and even pointing.


    "Yvonne, check me. Is my makeup smudged? Or is my outfit weird?" Tina asked,pletely baffled.


    "It''s not you. They''re looking at me," Yvonne said with a frown.


    "What''s going on? Are you that famous now?" Tina asked, stunned.


    "I don''t know. Let''s just get to the exam," Yvonne said, not wanting to deal with it,


    and quickened her pace toward the exam hall.


    When they entered the exam hall, they saw Luna.


    Luna was already in her seat, casually twirling a pen. A guy was sitting next to her, and the two of them wereughing and talking.


    When they saw Yvonne, they both shot her looks of ridicule and disdain, which was strange.


    Yvonne wasn''t curious enough to care and couldn''t be bothered with them, so she went straight to her seat.


    As luck would have it, Yvonne''s seat was right behind Luna and the guy.


    After she sat down, the professor walked in with a thick stack of papers. When the exam bell rang, the professor started handing out the tests


    Once Yvonne got her test, she scanned both sides of the paper to get an idea of the questions, then picked up her pen and began to


    answer seriously.


    Yvonne worked through the test quickly, finishing it just past the halfway mark.


    Yvonne was reviewing her answers when she looked up and happened to see Luna and the guy whispering and secretly passing a note.
