Sebastian saw it. His eyes were wide with fury as he shot up, pulling Natalie into his arms to shield herpletely.
A deafening crash tore through the night.
The violent impact made Natalie feel as if she were about to die.
She heard Sebastian''s heavy breathing and his pained, muffled grunt.
In that instant, Natalie suddenly felt protected by him.
Time seemed to stand still. Natalie''s head mmed against the back of her seat. She could feel something piercing Sebastian''s body.
She smelled the thick scent of blood. As a doctor, she was highly sensitive to it.
Sebastian''s body went limp, slumping over her.
She could hear his faint breathing in her ear.
The sickening crunch of bone sent fresh tears streaming down Natalie''s face.
"Sebastian!"
She let out a heart-wrenching scream.
"Sir, Madam! Sir!"
Sean was outside, pounding on the car window.
Hearing Sean''s voice, Natalie yelled, "Sean, quick! Call an ambnce! Hurry!"
Snapping out of her terror, Natalie''s first instinct was to save Sebastian.
Sebastian deserved to die!
But not like this!
Not while protecting her!
Even if it was a life for a life, Sebastian would have to die twice to repay what he owed her.
Sean quickly called for an ambnce.
He had just finished some business and was on his way to find Sebastian. When he saw their car, he had followed behind.
He never expected such an ident to happen.
Natalie was held tightly in Sebastian''s arms, her head resting on his shoulder. The steering wheel was crushed against his legs.
She could only see a small part of him. He had been knocked unconscious.
In an instant, she felt a massive weight pressing on her chest, a suffocating feeling
that made it hard to breathe as tears fell uncontrobly.
Her body trembled, her heart pierced with sharp, stabbing pains.
She never wanted to owe Sebastian anything ever again.
Just now, he could have easily gotten out of the car and escaped on his own.
Why did he save her?
A bitter taste filled Natalie''s mouth. The grief and anger in her heart turned into silent tears that flowed into her soul, the pain making it hard to breathe.
“Madam! Madam, hang in there! The rescue team will be here any second The front of the car and the engine arepletely mangled. Can you move at all?" Sean asked worriedly.
The bodyguards who had arrived behind him had already restrained the other driver.
Sean nced at the driver, his eyes cold.
The driver was so terrified he was trembling on his knees on the ground.
Natalie took a deep breath. Right, she couldn''t owe Sebastian.
Gritting her teeth against the pain, she shifted slightly, her fingers fumbling for her purse. As a doctor, Saty
she always carried anec
life-saving pill with her.
She carefully took out the pill, gently turned the unconscious Sebastian''s head toward her.
She carefully ced the pill in his mouth and closed his lips.
She whispered in his ear, “Sebastian, take it. If you''re going to die, it can''t be like this."
“Sebastian, in our past life, you pushed me down the stairs, killing me and our child. That''s two lives. How can you ever repay that de you die, you''ll pay with your life-for me and our child." ''

A tear slid from the corner of Sebastian''s tightly closed eyes, but Natalie was so
consumed by her own crying that she didn''t see it.
