Chapter 942

    "Okay, Grandma. Thank you!"

Natalie leaned against her shoulder, and the old woman patted it affectionately.

Sebastian watched their interaction, his gaze lingering on them.

His grandmother was rarely this happy.

She only smiled like this when Natalie was here.

Only now did he realize that all the clothes his grandmother had worn for years were designed by Natalie.

He had to admit, Natalie could design beautiful clothes of any style.

"Natalie, hurry and finish your dessert. And make sure to take the rest home with

youter. It''s very fresh and tastes wonderful."

Natalie was grateful. “I will, Grandma. I''ll enjoy it."

She took a bite, and it tasted delicious.

Smiling, she met her grandmother''s expectant gaze and finished the entire bowl.

After watching her eat, the old woman said, "Natalie, I''m going upstairs to make a phone call. You and Sebastian can talk for a bit.”

Natalie didn''t think much of it. "Let me help you up, Grandma."

"No, no, I''ve still got some life in me. I can manage the stairs just fine.”

The old woman waved her hand kindly and went upstairs, ostensibly to make a call, but really just to give them some time and space alone.

She was truly reluctant to lose such a wonderful granddaughter-inw, but she wouldn''t force the issue. She respected Natalie''s choice.

Only Sebastian and Natalie were left in the living room.

Natalie didn''t feel awkward. She took out her phone and started scrolling through videos.

She came across a hrious clip and wasughing when a shadow suddenly fell over her.

A familiar presence filled the air. Natalie''s smile faded as she looked up at Sebastian.

Meeting his deep-set eyes, Natalie was slightly taken aback. His gaze seemed different.

"What do you want? Is there not enough room over there? Do you have to crowd me?" she asked irritably.

Sebastian looked at her feisty expression and asked with a smile, "Natalie, do you really have no feelings for me anymore?"

    "None," Natalie answered crisply.

Her answer left Sebastian momentarily stunned. He stared at her intently.

"In a few months, this will bepletely over between us. I''m holding up my end of the deal, and expect you to hold up yours. When the timees, sign the final papers with me and end this without a scene."

Sebastian''s heart twisted painfully at her unhesitating reply.

A dark smile touched his lips. "Fine. But while our marriage is still valid, I expect you

to fulfill your duties as my wife."

    Natalie''s brow furrowed. She quickly

    scooted away, putting distance

between them, and looked at him

    defensively, "Sebastian, you have

Joanna now. I don''t want to have anything to do with you anymore. A man of your status doesn''tck for women."

"Just leave me alone, will you?"

Sebastian''s eyes narrowed at her look of disgust, making him want to strangle her. "Other women? You''re actually pushing me toward other women? Natalie, I''m your husband. Why are you pushing me away?"

"Please! I''ve exined this to you a million times, and I''m not doing it again. Everything between us was just me being wishful. Now, I''m done with that. You can be with whoever you want."

Natalie was not having it. Her values were quite traditional.

Even though her grandfather always joked about finding her a handsome man every month, he never actually did it. It was just their way of having fun.

Sebastian suddenly gripped her shoulders tightly.

Startled, Natalie asked warily, “Sebastian, get your hands off me. What do you think you''re doing?"
