Chapter 934

Sebastian looked at the photo he''d saved, a faint smile on his lips. "Natalie, you''re much cuter when you''re asleep than when you''re awake. I know you have a deep misunderstanding of me right now, but the truth wille out one day."

Sebastian turned and left the room. Natalie didn''t stir.

At the door, he nced back at the sleeping Natalie. It seemed she sensed his movement, as she rolled over and continued to sleep.

Sebastian gazed at her intently for a moment before turning to go to the bathroom to get ready.

Coming out of the bathroom, he received a call from a bodyguard.

    "Hello."

"Sir, Timothy went to see Joannast night. But there was no cover near her room door, so we couldn''t get close without being seen. We didn''t hear what they said."

Sebastian''s gaze was cold. He had always known those two were working together, but he hadn''t expected Timothy to be so impatient.

He ran over to warn Joanna justst night.

"It''s fine. Keep an eye on Timothy. He might make a move in the next few days. Watch his every move carefully."

    "Yes, sir."

Sebastian put his phone down. After the New Year, he would have the answers he was looking for.

Once he knew who that person was, he wouldn''t hold back any longer.

He went to the bathroom to dry his hair and then had someone prepare a gift. Today, they were going to see his grandmother.

Early in the morning, Natalie was woken up by a call from Mrs. Griffith Sr.

Hearing her phone ring, she reluctantly opened her eyes. After one sleepless night, it took two days to catch up.

She fumbled for her phone with her eyes still closed. Only then did she open them to swipe and answer. "Hello, Grandma."

"Nat, honey, is it too early? Did Grandma wake you?"

Hearing the old woman''s loving voice, Natalie sat up abruptly and said with a smile, "No, Grandma, I was just waking up. How have you been?"

"Fine, fine! The New Year is almost here, you know. I spoke with Sebastian yesterday and told you two toe home for lunch with me. I''ve already had the chef prepare your favorite dishes. If you haven''t had enough sleep, you can take a nap. No need to rush over."

    Natalie suddenly remembered what

Sebastian had saidst night-that they were going to visit his grandmother today. Conten

"It''s okay, Grandma. I''ll get ready and be over soon."

"Good, good. As for the housekeeper, I''m going to find an excuse to get rid of her today. We can''t have someone like that around for the New Year I talked to your grandfather, and he agrees there''s no need to keep her."

Natalie thought of the housekeeper and frowned slightly. "Okay, Grandma. It''s your decision."

"Good, good. I''ve already gathered all the evidence. I''ll call the police over in a bit." Natalie replied, "Okay, Grandma. Please be careful. We''ll be there soon."

Natalie was worried the woman was too cunning and that her grandmother might be in danger.

All her sleepiness vanished. She quickly got out of bed and went to the bathroom to get ready.

Meanwhile, at the Griffith family estate.

Mrs. Griffith Sr. set her phone down after ending the call.

Her cloudy eyes were heavy. She stood up and went downstairs for breakfast.

But Mrs. Lewis, the housekeeper, overheard every word as she crept up the stairs.

Hearing Mrs. Griffith Sr.''s footsteps, she hurried away from the second floor.

Damn it. The old woman had found her out.

The old woman was going to call the

    police on

    on her. That couldn''t happen.

She couldn''t let her son have a

    mother in prison.

The housekeeper went straight to the garden to call Joanna.

Joanna was also awake, having just finished breakfast and preparing for her IV drip.

Seeing the housekeeper''s call, she felt a pang of annoyance. The pregnancy had slowed down her ns.

    "Hello."

The housekeeper''s voice was frantic. "Ms. Scott, it''s bad. The old woman found me

    out."
