Chapter 906

Natalie went to the maternity ward to check on Hailey Lawson.

Hailey was still asleep, with the baby lying beside her.

Before leaving, she had fed the baby a bottle of form, and the little one was sleeping soundly.

Just as Natalie reached the doorway of the room, a figure suddenly rushed out.

A sharp p echoed in the hall.

Natalie felt a stinging pain as the blownded squarely on her face.

Her eyes darkened as she looked at her attacker, Brittany.

Brittany''s eyes were filled with murderous intent. "You bitch! How dare you ruin my ns! I''ll kill you!"

Natalie''s jaw tightened, her gaze turning to ice.

She took a step forward. The cold intensity in her eyes startled Brittany. "You... stay away from me."

But Natalie closed the distance in an instant.

She pped Brittany hard across the face and, in the same motion, kicked her squarely in the stomach.

    Brittany crumpled to the floor.

"Ah!" she cried out in pain.

But Natalie was furious. She walked over and grabbed her by the cor.

"Brittany, you dare say I ruined your ns?" she roared. "You drugged your sister-in-w, hoping she''d copse in the snow and die, killing both her and the baby. How could you do something so evil?"

"Shut up! What makes you think I was the one who drugged her?"

Natalie''s gaze was sharp. "Your own words just now. You said I ruined your ns.

So your goal was to make sure Hailey and her baby didn''t survive."

    "You''re truly despicable!"

"Heh..." Brittany sneered, looking up at the enraged Natalie, wishing she could kill her. "If you hadn''t interfered my n would have worked perfectly. She''s just some trash from a small town who got lucky, went to a good university, and managed to marry my brother."

"My brother is incredibly wealthy. Why should he marry a girl from the sticks?"

"And what gives you the right to plot against her life and her child''s? She got into a good university through her own hard work and fell in love with your brother. What did she do wrong?"

"And you? An adopted daughter, taken in and raised by the Griffith family. Your brother has loved and protected you since you were a child, yet you tried to kill his baby. You''re the one who has no right to be here!"

Natalie had seen the ugliest side of human nature, but she still couldn''t contain the rage boiling inside her.

"You bitch, it was none of your business!" Brittany knew everything was irreversible

    now.

Her brother had already sent people to investigate her.

She was finished. But if she was going down, she would drag Natalie down with her.

"Brittany." Arthur Griffith''s cold voice echoed down the hallway.

Natalie turned to see him standing behind her, his handsome face contorted with fury.

    Natalie let go of Brittany.

Terrified, Brittany scrambled up from the floor, her voice trembling. "Arthur..."

"Don''t say another word. As of today, you are no sister of mine. I believed you were a good person, but I never imagined you could be so vicious. Not only did you try to poison my wife and son but you''ve also been en bezzlingpany funds and. sending my wife photos and messages suggesting you and I

were having an affair, just to drive a

    wedge between us."

"The Griffith family took you in, and you stabbed us in the back, all because you

wanted to take over the family business."

    Brittany''s body trembled violently.

Tears welled in her eyes as she clenched her fists, the veins on her hands bulging. She shook her head, denying everything. She couldn''t admit it; she''d destroyed the evidense. "No, brother, it''s not like that! These are all lies to frame mel You can''t believe them!"
