Just then, Keith''s voice called out, "Natalie."


    Seeing Keith, Natalie pointed to the ambnce. "Keith, get over here, quick."


    Then she turned back to the doctor. "I''ll have my brother go with you to the hospital. Please, open the door."


    The doctor saw she wouldn''t be swayed and didn''t argue further. Medical malpractice was a burden not everyone could bear. It wasn''t that they were refusing to help; they were simply powerless.


    The doctor opened the ambnce door.


    Natalie jumped out of the vehicle as Keith ran up, panting.


    Unable to find Luna, Natalie had called Keith toe over. His car was also stuck in the traffic jam, so he had to walk to find her.


    "Keith, take Susan to the hospital."


    With that, she walked toward the man kneeling in the snow. He was staring nkly ahead, a look of utter, hopeless despair on his face.


    "Sir, I''m a doctor. Please take me to your wife."


    A few other drivers who saw Natalie became excited.


    A woman shouted, "There''s a doctor! A doctor is here!"


    When the man heard Natalie was a doctor, light gradually returned to his empty eyes. "You... you''re really a doctor?"


    Natalie replied, "Yes. First, take me to your wife."


    The man scrambled to his feet, overjoyed. "Yes, yes, that''s wonderful. Doctor, please,e with me."


    Natalie followed him to a car further back.


    Inside, his wife had already passed out.


    Natalie saw her flushed face and touched her burning forehead, a bad feeling rising in her.


    "She''s running a fever."


    The man was distraught, his eyes turning red. He exined, "My wife slipped in the snow. By the time I found her, she''d already fainted f carried her to the car but we got stuck in traffic just a few minutes after leaving the house."


    Natalie felt the pregnant woman''s abdomen. The baby was in a bad position.


    She pressed her lips together, her mind racing toe up with an emergency n.


    "Well? Do you actually know how to deliver a baby or not? What are you spacing out for? Get on with it! If anything happens to my sister-inw, I''ll make you pay."


    The sharp, cruel voice came from the back seat. Only then did Natalie notice another woman sitting there.


    Natalie''s brow furrowed slightly as she nced at the woman, who was ring at her with a murderous look.


    Natalie continued checking the pregnant woman''s pulse, ignoring her. But the man beside her, his eyes red with anxiety, roared, "Brittany Griffith, you either shut your mouth or get out of this car!"


    Brittany was furious too. She nced at her unconscious sister-inw with disdain. "Useless thing. Can''t even walk without fainting."


    "Brittany, get out! Don''t make me say it again!"


    The man was enraged, his eyes bloodshot with desperation.


    "Right, right, you''re the great saint, treating this piece of trash like she''s some kind of royalty.


    It''s pathetic. How can someone fall just by walking? If anything happens to my nephew, her worthless life won''t be enough to pay for it."


    The harsh words and demeaning tone made Natalie''s eyes turn cold. "Both of you,


    be quiet. The patient is in critical condition. If you want to argue, do it outside. Don''t disturb me while I''m trying to save her."


    "Save her?" Brittany sneered, her tone dripping with mockery. "You look so young, you probably don''t know the first thing about saving
