Natalie raised an eyebrow at him, warning him, "That''s right. You''d better not get involved and interfere with my revenge."
Since she couldn''t avoid him, she wasn''t afraid of him either.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow, finding her feisty attitude adorable.
"I won''t interfere with your revenge. As long as you promise not to work against me,
to cook for me every day, and to be with me, you can do whatever you want. I''ll even help you."
Before, he had been blind and foolish.
He had trusted the wrong person in Joanna.
He would give all that affection to Natalie now.
Whether she wanted it or not, he would do his best.
But he knew Natalie didn''t want him anymore. She really didn''t.
Natalie felt he had truly changed, but his change only made him seem more terrifying.
"I told you, I don''t need your help. Just stay quiet. We''ll stay out of each other''s way, okay?"
"Sebastian, remember this: for the rest of our lives, don''t get involved in mine. You won''t be a part of it."
Natalie warned him sternly.
Sebastian''s heart leaped into his throat. It was as if their roles had reversed. Before, it was Natalie who carefully paid attention to his every move.
Now, it was his turn to be cautious, but she no longer needed anything from him.
Sebastian said nothing, sitting silently on the sofa.
Natalie ignored him. He could stay or go, she didn''t care. The man was so stubborn, incredibly stubborn.
She opened the cake box on the table, picked up a small spoon, and took a bite. She closed her eyes in pleasure. This was wonderful. The sweet cake lifted her spirits considerably.
"Delicious, so sweet," Natalie said with a smile, eating one spoonful after another.
Sebastian watched from the side. She was so easy to please. A small cake was enough to make her happy.
He had always known she was easy to satisfy. In the past, just watching him eat the meals she cooked was enough to make her sit there and smile foolishly.
But he would never see that again.
Natalie quickly finished the cake.
She patted her satisfied stomach. This life of leisure was really nice.
Winter was the perfect time to gain weight. Gaining a few pounds wouldn''t be so bad.
Natalie stretched. She was getting sleepy. Why wasn''t Sebastian leaving yet? Her phone chimed.
Natalie saw a new message pop up. She picked up her phone and saw it was from Joanna.
[Natalie, look Sebastian bought me this nightgown. Isn''t it beautiful? So sexy, right? Sebastian said he''ll love. seeing me wear it you have no idea how wild Sebastian gets when h? sees me in something like this. He can wear me out so much can''t get fcan''t out of bed.]
Below the message was a picture.
Natalie frowned. What the hell was this?
Natalie handed the phone to Sebastian. Tell your old me to stop with the drama. It''s disgusting. Whatever you buy for her is between the two of you. As for a nightgown that sexy, you should go back and have her wear it for you. Better yet, keep her in bed for three days and three nights so she''ll stop bothering me."
Natalie was angry, really angry.
Sebastian frowned. So Joanna had been sending her messages like this to provoke her.
Sebastian handed the phone back to her. "I never bought her any clothes. She''s just being pathetic!"
Natalie sneered. "She is pathetic. Just like you. Get out."
Natalie was furious.
?
Furious. She stood up and started pushing Sebastian. "Get out! I don''t want to see you again. You two can act as crazy as you want but dont do it in front of me."
