Chapter 827

Seeing her fuming, Sebastian felt a strange pang in his chest.

“Natalie, I''ll handle this. Sophia won''t be able to frame you."

So, Sophia had been involved in all of Joanna''s schemes against Natalie.

They had coordinated perfectly, arranging everything so wlessly that he had beenpletely convinced by Joanna.

Meanwhile, Natalie had no one to trust. He was supposed to be the one person she could rely on, but what had he done?

He had refused to believe a word she said, letting her down again and again until she finally gave up and left him.

Sebastian clenched his fists. He had to get to the bottom of this.

He asked, “Natalie, do you know where the Wilson family''s vi is? I''ll send someone to check the basement."

Natalie shook her head. "You won''t find it. I don''t know where it is. But don''t worry, I''ll take care of this myself. I don''t rely on anyone, unlike Joanna, who runs to you for help over a tiny scratch."

Sebastian took a deep breath. Why did Joanna have to be involved in everything?

It seemed he had to deal with Joanna once and for all before he could ever hope to have a proper rtionship with Natalie.

"Natalie, how about we work together?"

She gave him a strange look. "Work together on what?"

Sebastian sat down beside her, raising an eyebrow. "Joanna isn''t genuinely in love with me. She''s only by my side to scheme against me. If we got back together, it would drive her crazy, wouldn''t it?"

“Oh!” Natalie''s eyes widened in shock. “Sebastian, are you possessed? Why are you talking like this?"

His words had truly stunned her.

Sebastian knew Joanna was scheming against him?

Natalie didn''t trust him, but the idea of infuriating Joanna was very appealing.

"Pissing her off does sound fun, but I''m worried you''re just setting a trap for me. No, forget it. For my own safety, I don''t want to work with you." You do your thing, and I''ll do mine."

Natalie still refused to cooperate with him.

If he had another one of his fits and decided to punish her for Joanna''s sake, she''d be in a terrible position.

"You don''t trust me?" Sebastian''s voice was heavy.

Natalie looked at him frankly. "Why should I trust you? If you want to get justice for Joanna, just say so. Don''t beat around the bush."

"And if Sophia finds out about what happened tonight, I''ll know you sold me out."

Sebastian felt like he was going to explode with frustration. Fine, she wouldn''t believe him.

"Don''t worry. This time, I''ll be on your side. I won''t let you down again. As your husband, I will believe you unconditionally from now on."

Natalie stared at him in horror. Was Sebastian being nice to her just to set up some bigger, more devastating move?

    She immediately refused. "No... you

don''t have to. I''ll handle my own problems, Just tell me what you want from me. Don''t use these tactics to screw me over. You''ve pulled this kind of thing too many times before, either forcing me to apologize to Joanna ot taking away" gifts I liked. Whatever you want... I''ll just give it to you. You don''t have to y these games every time."

Natalie''s face was pale, her expression guarded. She was genuinely afraid of his schemes.

She was no match for him right now.

She needed to bide her time and wait until she had more power, which was why she had been keeping a low profile.

Sebastian''s deep eyes stared right at her. He knew she wouldn''t trust him, but he hadn''t expected her to be sopletely unwilling to give m even a sliver of a chance.

He fell silent for a moment, a dull ache spreading through his chest.

"I''m going to the bathroom," he said. "Think about my offer. I hope you''ll have a satisfactory answer for me when I get back."
