Meeting people withmon interests, sharing ideas, learning from each other— how did that be ''messing around'' in his eyes?
"I''m not disgusting like you. Did I ever say anything when you were fooling around with Joanna? You even let her send me pictures of you two in bed to taunt me. Did I ever yell at you for it?"
"Because you didn''t love me, I never even let you know those pictures existed. I didn''t tell you about Joanna''s provocations. It was only when you two went too far that I brought it all out into the open."
After speaking, Natalie turned her back to him, refusing to say another word. The best punishment was to ignore him.
Sebastian sighed helplessly. He had exined the matter of the bed photos with Joanna countless times, but she never believed him.
He, Sebastian, had never touched Joanna!!!
Sebastian felt deeply wronged, his gaze darkening. "I''ve already answered that question for you. I have never touched her."
He felt he was beingpletely misjudged.
But Natalie didn''t believe his excuses. She just thought Sebastian was a total jerk, the kind of guy who''d deny everything after the fact.
"Sigh!" She let out a deep breath. "Sebastian, this is exhausting. Aren''t you tired of living like this? Joanna is so pitiful, too. How did she end up with a scumbag like you?"
Sebastian was floored.
He stared at her back, his fists clenched, but he didn''t know how to respond.
She was tired of loving, but his love had just begun.
Sebastian pulled her to her feet. The rough movement startled Natalie, and she looked at him with panicked eyes. "What are you doing?"
Seeing the fear in her eyes, Sebastian suddenly felt the urge to tease her.
"What am I doing?!"
His voice was low and suggestive.
The deep, sultry sound was sexy and seductive, going straight to Natalie''s heart.
"Natalie, you''re my wife." His deep eyes staredmandingly into her frantic ones.
A thick wave of panic shed in Natalie''s eyes. "S-so?"
"So, since you''ve never once fulfilled your wifely duties, how about we do that tonight?"
"What....." Natalie was shocked and shook her head. "No way. I''m afraid you have a disease!"
Sebastian gritted his teeth and growled, "Natalie, I''m damn clean."
"Tch, what does it matter to me if you''re clean or not?" Natalie said, feigningposure.
She couldn''t lose face.
"It matters because you''re constantly disgusted with me."
Sebastian was furious. He really wanted to wring her neck.
Natalie smiled, her teeth shing brightly. "So you''re aware I''m disgusted with you. Then stay away from me."
She tried to leave, only to find her hand was still held tightly in his.
"Will you let go?" Natalie hated him. He was too strong, and his hot palm was burning her skin.
Sebastian frowned. "Where are you going?"
Bir
"My phone and clothes are still with Zenobia. I have to go find them. You dragged me away in a fit of anger, they be worried about me
"And you''re not worried about me being angry?" Sebastian watched her intently,
afraid to miss a single expression on her face.
Natalieughed in exasperation. "I
don''t understand why you''re angry.
you
When stayed home waiting for you you treated me like I was invisible. Now that I''m out having fun, you get mad again? It seems like nothing I do is right in your eyes!"
Natalie felt helpless,pletely helpless.
There was nothing for them to talk about when they were together. It was just the
same old arguments, rehashing the same past events.
Natalie really didn''t want to waste
any more time on a man like this Even though her heart still loved the gloomy and selfish Sebastian, she didn''t want to be tangled up like this anymore.
