Zenobia found his question amusing. "Mr. Griffith, haven''t you noticed that the tea at your house is special? Natalie blends all of it herself. We''ve been drinking it for two years. It''s great for digestion. Of course, the wellness blends she makes for you are even better, tailored specifically for your health."
Sebastian looked at Natalie, slightly shocked. It was true, there were many types of tea at home, and they all tasted wonderful. They weren''t just simple tea leaves; they contained ingredients he''d never seen before, but the vor was exceptional.
He''d had a lot of it at his old vi, and when he moved, he''d brought it all with him to his current house because he liked it so much.
The packaging was unique. One blend, in particr, had an effectparable to coffee, leaving him feeling refreshed and clear-headed.
Before their separation, Natalie had Sean deliver arge supply to his office. He drank it all the time while working. The packages had no brand name on them.
So, all that tea had been blended by Natalie herself.
An unnatural expression crossed Sebastian''s handsome face. He had truly overlooked herpletely.
"I''m sorry, I didn''t know you made those teas yourself," Sebastian apologized sincerely. He felt an odd urge to flee, at aplete loss for words.
Natalie shook her head.
She was long used to being ignored by him. Besides, they were getting a divorce, so she wasn''t going to dwell on it.
"It''s fine, it''s a small thing," Natalie said, focusing on her food. Once he finished what he had, there wouldn''t be any more. Many of the best things took time and effort, and from now on, she would only make them for herself and her close friends.
She wrapped a piece of pork belly in a lettuce leaf and ate it.
"Wow, that''s delicious!" Natalie said happily, then made one for Zenobia, followed by Susan and Sean. The only one she left out was Sebastian.
Sebastian sat there, seething quietly. Everyone got one but him.
Natalie was making it clear that he was no longer in her heart.
He knew their marriage was on the brink of copse, but he still wanted to try.
After dinner, the three women decided to go for karaoke.
Sebastian had a meeting that evening, so he and Sean went up to the presidential suite on the top floor, which happened to be right next to Natalie''s.
After entering the room, he took off his overcoat and looked at Sean, who had
followed him in. "Did you also know Natalie prepared those teas?"
Sean smiled. "Mr. Griffith, have you forgotten? was the one who delivered them to your office. The ''ck Gold Tea'' is the one you alway drink. Ms. Sanders said it was very good for your eye recovery. The ingredients are very rare She told me not to tell you, afraid you wouldn''t drink it if you knew. She thought you might think she had ulterior motives. There''s not much of it left, by the way."
Sebastian took a deep breath. How many other things did he not know?
Back then, he actually had trusted Natalie.
It was only when Joanna returned that everything changed. When did he stop believing her?
Was it during all those times he thought he had "personally witnessed" Natalie hurting Joanna?
Sebastian sat down, frustrated, feeling as if he couldn''t breathe.
After a moment, his voice was calm, as if nothing had happened. "Prepare for the meeting."
"Right away," Sean replied.
The two-hour meeting ended.
Sebastian checked the security feed
and saw, Natalie and her friends
Sebastian''s eyes were fixed on Natalie''s exquisitely beautiful face. Her smile was stunning. She was just too dazzling.
Zenobia and Susan weren''t
unattractive, but standing between them, Natalie''s presence was so captivating that a single nce was enough to make a man fall for herpletely.
