Three days passed in a sh.
First thing in the morning, Natalie called Marshall and told him to sell his shares. If she was right, the stock would plummet by the afternoon.
Marshall was swimming in profits and was reluctant to sell. The stock was at its peak, and if it kept rising, he could make even more.
"Natalie, I think it''s going to keep climbing. Isn''t it a waste to sell now? I''ve already made over a billion dors so far. Natalie, I''ve never felt so good making money."
Marshall couldn''t bear to let go.
Natalie had also earned a substantial amount, but now was the perfect time to sell.
"Marshall, you promised you''d listen to me. Sell it now. I''ve already sold mine. Don''t get greedy. Hurry."
Marshall''s voice was filled with disappointment. "Alright."
Natalie hung up and went back to making breakfast.
Sebastian, who had overheard from outside, called Sean. "Sean, sell the stocks we bought."
Sean was ecstatic. "Sir, do you know how much we''ve made? Our initial two-billion- dor investment has multiplied several times over! It would be such a shame to sell now, right when it''s surging. It''s climbing every second."
Sean was stunned. Sebastian must not have been fully awake. Why would he sell at a time like this?
Sebastian frowned, his tone serious. "Sell it."
"What.....?" Sean was unwilling. He''d never seen a stock rise so terrifyingly fast.
Overnight, they had practically amassed the wealth of three generations of the four major families. Sebastian was a genius.
It had previously hit rock bottom before suddenly soaring. He had invested ten million dors himself and made a handsome profit. He didn''t want to sell either.
By tomorrow morning, who knew how much more it would be worth?
"Sir..."
"Sell it. Now," Sebastian warned him.
Seeing the stock market''s vtility, Sean decided not to push his luck and immediately sold.
Sebastian hung up and saw Natalieing out with two bowls of shrimp dumplings. "Sebastian, we''re having shrimp dumplings today."
Sebastian put his phone on the table and went to help her. "I like shrimp dumplings too," he said calmly.
She had made them from scratch this morning, and they were delicious.
Natalie heard that he liked them and
looked at the faint smile on his
handsome face. She felt that
wel.n
Sebastian had changed, that he was bing a stranger.
But that didn''t change the fact that she still hated him.
"Then
said,ke do with these," Natalie
said, giving him arger portion. She added seasoning and broth, then handed him the bowl to take to the table. .
Natalie preferred hers spicy and sour. After preparing her own bowl, she came out and sat across from Sebastian. Watching him eat so Griffith, be
intently, she said, "Mr. Catom
out for three days. While I''m gone, there are dumplings in the freezer you can cook for yourself. The seasoning packets are in the cab I''ve already portioned them out for you. Just mix one packet with hot water and add the cooked dumplings. If you want vegetables, you can boil some and add them in."
Sebastian frowned, looking at her. "Where are you going?"
Three days away felt sudden and unsettling.
"I''m going to visit a friend," Natalie exined.
Sebastian remembered the call she had taken that morning. It was Zenobia Nelson.
She was going to see Zenobia.
Sebastian gave a slight nod. "Alright. Just be sure toe back in three days."
Natalie didn''t respond. Was he really that afraid she would run away?
Sebastian just looked at her, seemingly waiting for her to say something.
She smiled faintly. "Yes. I''ll be back in three days. You don''t have to worry about me running off."
