[This Nathan guy is a bastard. You just don''t hit a woman, no matter what.]
[Mrs. Scott just showed up too. I just saw her get out of her car. Things might get even more explosive.]
Natalie''s grip on her phone tightened.
She didn''t reply, knowing Luna would keep her updated.
...
Wendy got out of her car and walked gracefully through the vi gates, her eyesnding on the pathetic sight of Sophia on the ground.
Sophia''s head snapped up.
She scrambled to her feet, shouting, "Wendy! It''s you! What are you doing here? How do you know about this ce?"
Wendy smiled, a condescending look on her face. "It''s me. And here I thought you two were so in love. One video was all it took for him to beat you. So much for his love."
"I see it clearly now. Nathan doesn''t love anyone. He only loves money!"
"You''re lying! He loves me! He was only with you for your money! You were the fool who supported us for all these years..."
"And you seem quite proud of that. I''ve never seen someone so proud of being a freeloader."
Wendy cut her off. As Sophia struggled to her feet, Wendy delivered a swift, hard kick to her stomach.
Sophia, who had just found her bnce, crumpled back into the snow.
She clutched her aching stomach, ring venomously at Wendy, her face a mask of humiliation and fury. This was not how it was supposed to go. She was supposed to be the triumphant Mrs. Scott, with Wendy crushed under her heel.
Why, even now that Wendy was supposedly ruined, did she still radiate such confidence?
“Wendy, what gives you the right to hit me? You couldn''t hold on to your man, so what are you taking it out on me for? He came to me if you''ve got a problem, go take it up with Nathan! It takes two to tango."
"Yes, I know it takes two to tango. The reason I hit you is simple-you eat my food, use my things, live under my roof. You should have kept your head down and been grateful,
not paraded around in front of me."
"I know what you wanted to tell me today. You wanted to unt your victory, to gloat
about how you won. But did you really win?"
"That disgusting, greasy old man is all yours. A perfect match, trash with trash. Now my house is finally clean."
"As for everything you took from me,
I will get it back. And then there''s Mrs. Wilson: Next, you can sit back and watch her performance. Since you love being a mistress so much, love destroying families, just you wait and see if your precious man will protect you in the end."
Wendy''s smile was chilling. “Did you think your good life was just beginning? No. The moment Nathan and I divorced, your miserable days officially began. We''ll see what happens."
With a confident smile, Wendy turned and left.
Once outside the vi gates, she sent a text to Mrs. Wilson.
Then, she nced back at the house, a murderous glint in her eyes. "Nathan, you''ll
go back to where you came from. You had nothing when you met me, and you''ll
have nothing when you leave me."
"I''m just sending you back where you belong."
Wendy muttered to herself, then got in her car and drove away.
Sophia was right about one thing: it does take two to tango. But flies are only drawn
to rot.
Nathan would get what wasing to him.
Luna saw Wendy leave and immediately sent a new video to Natalie.
