Natalie gave Matthew a yful smile.
Sebastian couldn''t stand to watch another second. He grabbed Natalie and pulled
her away.
After a few steps, he noticed her bag was still on the chair. He quickly went back, snatched it, and then led her out of the restaurant.
Matthew mmed his fist on the table in frustration.
Sebastian was too much, tearing Natalie away from him time and time again.
He watched her leave, hoping they would divorce soon so he could protect her openly and rightfully.
Natalie was shoved into the car, and Sebastian quickly got in after her.
He brought a gust of snowy air with him, and the chill made Natalie shiver.
Just as Sebastian was about to close the door, a slender hand reached inside.
Sebastian tried to stop, but he was toote. The door mmed heavily on Joanna''s hand.
"Ah!"
Joanna cried out in pain.
"Sebastian, my hand! My hand hurts so much!" she looked at him with teary, pitiful eyes.
Sebastian frowned. "What are you doing? You saw I was closing the door. Why would you stick your hand in?"
Natalie saw Joanna''s red, swollen hand andughed.
She said with a grin, "Mr. Griffith, you''d better get your mistress in the car. It''s cold out, and her hand is hurt. You wouldn''t want her to be in pain, would you? It might just break your heart."
Sebastian turned to re at her, an inexplicable frustration rising in his chest at her words. "What mistress? What nonsense are you talking about?"
"Tsk! Mr. Griffith, at least Joanna is a woman who owns up to her actions. You''re a grown man, so why pretend to be so noble? Don''t you know what you''ve done?"
"You''re bing more and more irresponsible."
Natalie leaned across him, pushed the door open, and looked at Joanna. "Ms. Scott, please get in. It''s windy out here, don''t catch a cold."
"Otherwise, Mr. Griffith might just worry himself sick."
Sebastian looked down as she leaned on hisp. A faint, fresh scent drifted up to him, warming him from the inside out.
This was the second time they had been this close. She smelled so good. He closed his eyes slightly, mesmerized.
Joanna took the opportunity to get into the car, crying, "Sebastian, my hand really hurts. Look, it''s all swollen."
Natalie nced over. It was a bit swollen and slightly red, but knowing how dramatic she could be, a paper cut was a hospital emergency. "Well, Mr. Griffith, I won''t disturb you two any fonger. You should hurry to the hospital. Anyter and the swelling, might go down on its own."
Natalie opened the other car door, smiled, and quickly slipped away.
Sebastian watched her run off, a smirk on her face.
He was furious. The woman had learned to y tricks on him.
And what was she smiling about?
It was as if she was actually enjoying this.
"Natalie, get back here!"
Sebastian''s roar of anger was swallowed by the wind and snow.
Joanna say that Sebastian was only focused on Natalie and no longer cared about her. She felt both wronged and angry. "Sebastian, may hand hurts so much Can we please go to the hospital?"
Sebastian frowned at her hand. It was indeed red and swollen. Thinking about all of Joanna''s vile
schemes how she would even hurt
herself to frame Natalie-a slow,
con smile spread across his lips
"Joanna, does it hurt a lot?"
Joanna whispered, "It hurts."
Sebastian''s smile grew darker, more inscrutable. "Good. That''s what you get for
sticking it in on purpose."
