Natalie''s head snapped up, her eyes meeting Sebastian''s icy gaze. The intense pressure radiating from him made her heart skip a beat.
Natalie frowned but said nothing. Why him again?
This was so annoying. She really didn''t want to see him.
Matthew also frowned at the sight of Sebastian.
Just then, Joanna walked over, her face a mask of feigned surprise. “Natalie, how
could you do this behind Sebastian''s back? Have you no shame?"
"Sebastian workste every day for thepany, and instead of being home to take care of him, you''re out on a date with another man."
“Natalie, you''re bing more shameless by the day!"
Natalieughed, amused by Joanna''s audacity. How could she so righteously
use her of being shameless?
She stood up and faced Joanna, a devilish smile on her face. Smack!
A stinging pnded squarely on her cheek.
"Ah! Natalie, you dare hit me?" Joanna shrieked, her eyes wide with fury.
How dare Natalie hit her!
Natalie sneered. “I just did, didn''t I? Why wouldn''t I dare? Joanna, is your mind as filthy as your heart and body, so you see filth everywhere? Mr. Monroe and I are business partners and neighbors. Is it any of your business if we have dinner together?"
"Aren''t you the shameless one? You knew Sebastian and I were married, yet you paraded in and out of our vi, took pictures of yourself in his bed to send to me, and moved into the master bedroom every chance you got, while I, his wife, was forced to stay in a guest room. You''ve made a career out of being the other woman. Have you ever known shame?"
"Now that I''m giving you two what you want, leaving you to it, why do you still have to show up and disgust me?"
“Joanna, I know you want me dead, but I won''t give you the satisfaction. I''m going to live a long, happy life, just to spite you both."
Natalie shot a look at Sebastian, her tone dripping with mockery. "Mr. Griffith is so magnanimous. He doesn''t mind whether you''re with some street thug, Mr. Wilson, him, or that famous actor you''re filming with now. He still dotes on you. What more could you possibly want? Why do you feel the need to unt it in my face?"
f
"You... You''re talking nonsense! Natalie, you''re just jealous of my history with Sebastian, so you''re making things up to nder me. Your viciousness is truly appalling." Joanna was furious. How could she know about that?
Natalieughed coldly. "Me, vicious? Don''t worry, I have proof of everything you''ve
done. Let the public decide who the vicious one is. Or do I need to throw the
evidence to prove just how pure and noble you really are?"
“Joanna, don''t think you''re the smartest person in the world. There are plenty of people out there who are smarter and more capable than you. Have you ever stopped to think about who you ve offended why they have leverage over you, and how that leverage ended up in my hands?"
Natalie''s smile was radiant, herrge, expressive eyes seeming to peer into Joanna''s very soul.
Joanna trembled with rage, her features contorted into an ugly, intimidating snarl.
The contrast between their expressions was stark.
“Natalie, I''m going to sue you for defamation,” Joanna said, her voice strained.
Natalie smiled. “Should I call the police for you, then?"
"You..."
"If you want me to call the police, then I''ll sue both of you for adultery. That allowance you''ve been taking from my husband? You''ll have to pay it all back. If you can do that, I''ll dial the number right now."
Natalie raised her phone, ready to make the call.
Joanna panicked. If this got out, the movie she was currently filming would be ruined.
