Chapter 415

A small smile yed on Natalie''s lips, making her beautiful eyes shine. "Say what? You and I have nothing to talk about, except for the divorce."

Sebastian''s chest tightened. The word ''divorce'' ignited a fire in his eyes. He didn''t want a divorce.

"Grandma and Grandpa would never agree to it. They adore you. Have you already forgotten how good they''ve been to you?"

Sebastian didn''t look at Natalie as he spoke. He knew it was a weak excuse, but it was the only one he had.

When a person stops caring, they have no vulnerabilities.

She used to care about the Scott family, which made her hold back, but not anymore.

Now that Natalie cared about nothing, nothing could be used to threaten her.

Natalie thought of the senior Griffiths, her feelingsplicated. "I haven''t forgotten how good Grandma and Grandpa have been to me. I can still visit them after we''re divorced."

Sebastian frowned, saying nothing, just watching her intently.

"Sebastian, why didn''t you wait for me? I''m in heels and I twisted my ankle. It really hurts," Joanna whined, walking up to Sebastian and linking her arm through his affectionately.

Sebastian didn''t pull away, merely ncing at her. "The paths on this ind are uneven. Why are you wearing heels? Go back and change. I''ll wait here."

Hearing that, Natalie knew they were sharing a room, and her heart couldn''t help but sting.

Even though she knew they''d been having an affair for a long time, it still hurt.

She had, after all, truly loved Sebastian once. The pain was to be expected.

Joanna smiled, her voice gentle. "It''s fine, Sebastian. I''ll change when we get to the set. My agent brought plenty of shoes for me.” As she spoke, she nced at Natalie.

She saw no reaction; Natalie looked at them as if they wereplete strangers. Natalie had truly changed. She really didn''t want Sebastian anymore.

Natalie ignored their little disy. When the elevator arrived, she stepped inside quickly.

Joanna pulled Sebastian along, hurrying in after her.

A venomous glint shed in Joanna''s eyes.

"Oh!" she cried, pretending to lose her bnce and stumbling into Sebastian''s arms.

Sebastian frowned but steadied her, his voice gentle. “Be careful. Don''t fall."

    His gaze, however, shifted to

Natalie, He saw a smile gracing bet

    radiant smile as breathtaking

    lips, a ar

as the first thaw of spring

She was looking down at her phone, and whatever message she''d received made

her look as happy as someone newly in love.

Joanna saw it too. Natalie no longer hid her stunning beauty, and Joanna was intensely jealous. She seized the opportunity. "Sebastian, look at Natalie''s face. She looks like she''s in love, doesn''t she? I wonder which handsome man on the other end that phone is making her smile so happily?"

The implication was clear: Natalie was texting some other man.

Natalie had just finished replying "Take care" ton, who''d updated her that his grandmother was doing well.

Hearing Joanna''s words, she snapped her head up, raised her hand, andnded a hard p across Joanna''s face.

Joanna''s eyes flew open in disbelief. "Natalie, you hit me."

"I hit a bitch who deserved it. Why does your mouth spew nothing but shit?"

Natalie cut her off with a smile,

though her eyes were wide with fury. She taunted, "It''s bad enough you''re so eager to be the other woman, but you also have to try and frame me every chance you get?"
