Chapter 405

Joanna''s jaw dropped, her features twisting in fury. Damn you, Susan. I will get you back for this.

Seeing Joanna like this, Susan felt one thing and one thing only: satisfaction.

"Natalie, let''s go." With the triumphant air of a victor, Susan held her head high and proudly led Natalie away.

Natalie didn''t spare Sebastian a single nce as she left with Susan.

Outside the hotel, under the clear sky, Susan looked at Natalie. "Natalie, how are you feeling?"

Natalie''s lips, a fiery red, curved into a bright smile. “I feel pretty good. Susan, you were right about one thing: you can''t save someone who''s determined to self- destruct. We didn''t stop Jared, and he walked the path he chose."

"Exactly! I hope he enjoys his surprise. I tried so hard to warn him before, but he always thought I was just jealous of Monica. Anyway, it''s good we left. Sebastian and the Scotts are all unreasonable animals. Come on, let''s go back to my ind. Those ten male models are still there."

"They''re all gorgeous. I know you''re free for the next couple of days, soe hang out with me. I know you love free diving, and I checked the weather forecast. Tomorrow and the day after are supposed to be perfect. After that, it''ll be too cold to go in the water."

Natalie considered it. Her grandfather wasn''t home, and her design work could wait.

"Alright! Let''s go today. I just need to go home and grab my gear." Natalie decided to take a couple of days to rx.

Jared''s future was about to get ugly, though she didn''t know the details of his downfall. But that was no longer her concern.

"Let''s go, let''s go! I''ll introduce you to another handsome man. You''ll definitely like him." Susan grabbed Natalie''s arm, ready to leave. "There are plenty of amazing men in this world."

Just as Natalie was about to go, a hand mped around her wrist.

Natalie turned to see Sebastian. His palm was hot, and the scorching heat seeped into her heart.

She hadn''t seen Sebastian in days. Every time she did, the man''s handsome face still sent a jolt through her, utterly captivating.

Few women could resist Sebastian''s unique charm.

She frowned. "Mr. Griffith, let go."

Sebastian''s brow furrowed. "Are you going to see another man?"

"What I do is none of your business. You should gofort your first love, Mr. Griffith. Susan upset her just now I''d hate for her to get worked up she ends up in th hospital. Your heart would ache even more then, wouldn''t it, Mr. Griffith?"

Sebastian snapped, "Natalie, speak to me properly."

Her detached attitude sent a pang of pain through his chest.

The Natalie before him now was elusive, and he found himself unable to understand her anymore.

    "Tsk! Wasn''t being considerate of

your precious Joanna? Before, when I told you not to go to her, you used me of making a scene. Now that I''m being thoughtful you''re telling me i''m not speaking properly? Mr. Griffith, I really have to ask, what is it you want from me?"Content

Sebastian was taken aback, his eyes filled with a fierce light. "Don''t go. I have something to say to you."

"Sorry, but besides the divorce, I have nothing to say to you. Let go."

Instead of letting go, Sebastian tightened his grip.

    "Sebastian, you''re hurting me."

At that, Sebastian''s grip loosened slightly.

Looking into Natalie''s bright, captivating eyes, he said, "I forbid you from seeing other men."

"Mr. Griffith, you''re an incredible hypocrite. When you were hugging your first love and hurting me, did you ever remind yourself thatyoure a married man?"

Sebastian shot a cold re at Susan.
