Chapter 176

Honestly, he couldn''t figure out Sebastian''s bizarre behavior. Natalie was right; the scumbag and the shrew deserved each other.

Sebastian''s sharp eyes bore into him. "I''m asking you for a solution, not a

    critique."

"Before Natalie showed up, I thought I would marry Joanna. We grew up together, and she saved my life. But then I got into trouble, she left, and I married Natalie."

"I wanted a divorce before because Joanna came back, and Natalie was causing trouble every other day. You know thepany had juste into my hands back then. I was dealing with business issues and family drama at the same time. It was exhausting. I gave her the divorce papers out of frustration. But things aren''t as simple as we thought."

"Like the video you saw-that man wasn''t me. But he was doing all those intimate things with Joanna, and she seemed proud of it, sending the video to Natalie. The man Joanna loves isn''t me; it''s the man she''s sleeping with."

"Oh my god, Boss! You''re finally using your brain!" Sean blurted out, unable to stop himself.

Sebastian''s head snapped up, a dangerous glint in his eyes. His voice was husky. "What''s that supposed to mean?"

Sean let out a nervousugh. "Boss, do you want the truth? And will you even believe me if I tell you?"

A flicker of anger surfaced in Sebastian''s dark eyes. His voice was cold. "Speak. I won''t get angry."

Sean straightened up. "Boss, I think you and the Scotts are all fools. Or maybe not fools, just tantly biased. Joanna is the princess you all worship, and Natalie is the beggar on the street. It''s that extreme."

"The moment Joanna cries, you all start ming Natalie without even bothering to find out what happened. Your actions are despicable. You''re not just emotionally abusing her; you''re causing her serious psychological harm."

"Honestly, I''ve never witnessed such pure malice until I saw how you all treat her."

"Boss, I think you should just grant her the divorce. Ms. Sanders knows exactly what kind of person you are which is why she''s willing to leave with nothing. She doesn''t want a penny from you because she knows

    wouldn''t give her one.anyway."

"Your tant favoritism for Joanna has caused Ms. Sanders a kind of pain that nothing you do will ever be able to fix." If it were him, he would

have fought back tooth and nail. Natalie''s approach was remarkably -gentle all things considered. To put

    it bluntly, Sebastian didn''t

    understand love.

"Ms. Sanders is a wonderful person," Sean finished, his head bowed sadly. "If I were rich, I would definitely marry her."

Suddenly, the air in the room grew thick with a dangerous tension.

Sean realized what he had just said and quickly pped his own mouth. "Boss, I''m sorry. But you asked me to be honest, and I didn''t say anything that wasn''t true."

"Hmph," Sebastian grunted. "Sean, what if I brought Natalie''s grandfather here and used him to threaten her? Would she still divorce me then?"

Sean was speechless. This man had absolutely no idea how to court a

woman He had been chased by

Natalie for so long that his

    emotional intelligence had never had

    a chance to develop.

Sean couldn''t help but deliver another blow. "Boss, the earth doesn''t revolve around you."

Just as he finished speaking, his phone rang.

    "Hello?"

It was Nathan. "Sean, get Sebastian to the hospital, now! Joanna tried to kill herself."
