Chapter 103

The moment Sebastian opened the door, Joanna rushed in. The sight of him

holding Natalie''s hand sent a wave of furious jealousy through her. How could she stand it?

She made no effort to hide her rage. "Natalie, you have no shame! You''re divorced, and you''re still here trying to seduce Sebastian?"

Sebastian''s brow furrowed as he looked at Joanna''s contorted face, his eyes smoldering. "Joanna, what are you doing here thiste?"

Hearing his detached tone, Joanna''s expression shifted to one of pure grievance. “Sebastian, if I hadn''te, would you have let this woman move back in? You promised you''d marry me! When I left all those years ago, you said you''d wait for me. You already broke your promise once-are you going to do it again?"

Sebastian frowned. Had he really said that? Even if he had, he was already married to Natalie. A verbal promise meant nothing.

He remembered Natalie''s words, and a seed of doubt took root. He didn''t want to be a fool. Did Joanna leave him back then because she was ashamed of his eye injury and ran off with another man, or was her goal the entire Griffith family fortune? He needed to find out the truth.

Natalie seized her chance. "Sebastian, you promised to marry Joanna, but you married me instead. You''re the worst kind of scumbag. It''ste, so I won''t interrupt your romantic reunion."

She yanked her hand free and started to walk away with a defiant swagger.

But she didn''t get far before Sebastian grabbed her wrist, his gaze dark and menacing. "Natalie, you stay put. Where do you think you''re going?"

As Natalie turned back, tears streamed down her face. "Mr. Griffith, we''re divorced. Please keep your distance. This is Ms. Scott, the woman you love. I was just trying to give you two some privacy. Is that so wrong?"

Sebastian stared at her tear-streaked face. She was crying, but something felt off. He pulled her back toward him. "You''re going back inside to wait for me."

"Wait for what? Who would want to wait for a cheater who''s in love with another woman?"

With a powerful wrench, Natalie broke free from his grasp. She had changed into running shoes when she went upstairs earlier, and now she botted Damn that wasabi thought. The burn was shooting straight up into her sinuses.

    "Natalie, get back here!"

    She

Sebastian started to chase after her, but Joanna clung to him, sobbing.

"Sebastian, why are you doing this to me?"

He snapped back to reality, his handsome face a cold mask as he stared down at

her. "Joanna, how did you know toe here tonight?"

Joanna froze, seeing the chill in his eyes. She frowned slightly. "I came looking for you, of course. You didn''t answer my calls all day, and you wouldn''t talk to me. I was so scared... scared you didn''t love me anymore."

"I never did," he said, his tone devoid of warmth.

Joanna was stunned. She had spent her entire childhood trying to get close to him, and he had always been good to her, giving her whatever she wanted. And now he was saying he didn''t love her? Was it because of Natalie?

"Sebastian, how can you be so cruel? I''ve loved you my whole life.”

He let out a coldugh. "You actually believe the promises and dreams of a couple of kids? You''re ridiculously naive. Joanna, if it weren''t for your recent stunts, I might have
