Whether it was running away or simply leaving, she no longer wanted anything to do with the people who had destroyed her in her past life.
Queena knew she would say something like this. She was already mentally and physically exhausted.
"Alright. Once you''ve handled your business, I''ll take you traveling." Queena''s dream was to see the world.
"Deal. I''ll go with you. I know your dream is to travel the world, and I want to do that too." She knew Queena had mentioned this wish more than once.
Standing not far away, Sebastian heard every word of their conversation. He hadn''t heard the part about him being yed, but he did hear Natalie say she was going to give things a try with Matthew. A cold fury rose in his eyes.
Natalie, you''re thinking about other men before we''re even officially divorced? You''re asking for trouble.
Leave this ce? Where does she think she can go?
If she won''t love me, who else does she think she can love?
Forty minutester, Natalie and Queena emerged from the hot springs.
They returned to their rooms to rest. They were single rooms with small beds, so Natalie had booked two for their afternoon nap. A soothing nap after a hot spring soak-it was a perfect day.
Natalie had justin down and was drifting between sleep and wakefulness when she heard the door open.
She assumed it was Queena. "Queena, I''m about to fall asleep. Did you forget something again?"
There was no answer.
Sebastian stood there, watching her on the bed in her shorts and t-shirt. Her skin was fair, her body lean and toned, exuding a captivating allure. He had always known Natalie was beautiful, but he''d never realized just how stunning she was. Her eyes were closed, her long, curledshes like delicate feathers resting on her eyelids, adding a touch of softness to her features. With her eyes shut, some of her coldness melted away. Her lips were slightly parted, pink and inviting.
Sebastian''s breath caught in his throat. He felt a stir of desire.
Natalie didn''t hear Queena''s voice, but she sensed a sudden, dangerous presence approaching.
Her eyes snapped open. It was Sebastian.
She shot up, pulling the nket around herself.
"Sebastian, what are you doing here?" she asked, her voice sharp with suspicion.
He carried a unique aura-calm andposed, yet with a sharp, hidden edge. His gaze was deep, as if it could see through everything.
Seeing smile
You defensive posture, a faint
you''re my wife Can''t Ie your room? His tone was
on his lips. "Now,
Wasing.
Natalie let out a bitterugh. She felt so powerless against him. Had he already forgotten the hurtful things.; he''d said just hours ago in the private room?
"Sebastian, I know you''re good at ying with people''s feelings, treating love like a game, and leaving those who genuinely care about you in pieces. So please, stop showing up in front of me."
"You need to leave. If Joanna finds out you came to my room alone, who knows how she''ll nder and insult me this time."
Sebastian walked toward her, his cool presence enveloping her. Natalie''s gaze darkened, and she instinctively scooted back.
"Sebastian, I''m going to call Joanna right now and tell her you''re here. She cane and collect you."
As Natalie reached for her phone on the nightstand, Sebastian stopped her, his hand mping down on her wrist.
His eyes were dark. “Natalie, are you trying to push me away to another woman?" The question made her feel sick.
Her anger red. "Let go of me! You''re disgusting!"
