Chapter 1

The day Natalie Sanders died was Christmas'' Eve. Snow was falling, and the night sky was aze with fireworks.

It was also the day she was kidnapped alongside her husband''s mistress, Joanna Scott.

Her four brothers and her husband chose to save Joanna.

And so, the man she loved most pushed her from the top of a building, sending her and the child in her womb plunging to their deaths.

As her soul drifted from her broken body, she looked down at the wreckage of herself andughed. The family she had dedicated her life to protecting had all wanted her dead.

On the first day of her captivity, her brother Jerome, desperate to save Joanna, had let the kidnappers destroy her beautiful face.

On the second day, to keep Joanna alive, he had them break both of her hands.

On the third day, for Joanna''s sake, he had them inject her with an agonizing poison.

On the fourth day, to ensure Joanna''s survival, he had them shatter her legs.

She had been four months pregnant.

Just when the pain was at its most unbearable, they had arrived. And the man she adored, in his rush to save Joanna, shoved her off the ledge.

She died mangled beyond recognition, but in that final moment, she felt a sense of peace. She was finally free.

But her soul could not move on. For decades, it drifted among her so-called loved ones, a silent witness to all their fates. It wasn''t until the day Sebastian Griffith finally died that she felt the weight of her resentment lift, allowing her to leave in peace.

Her spirit had wandered for what felt like an eternity, unable to reincarnate, and she never knew why. But now, she wanted to see what else the afterlife held. With Sebastian gone, her grudge had finally settled.

Natalie took onest look at Sebastian''s photograph, then turned and walked toward the vi''s entrance without a shred of regret. As she reached the doorway, a brilliant white light red before her. A jolt of joy shot through her. Sebastian had been the anchor tying her soul to this world, and now she was truly free.

But in the next second, a powerful force yanked her back.

"Ah!" Natalie screamed, wing at the air but finding nothing to hold on to.

"Stop ying dead, Natalie. Get up," a cold voice boomed from above. "How dare you use something as vile as a kidnapping to frame Joanna? You''re asking for it."

Natalie''s eyes snapped open, and she stared in a daze at the handsome man looming over her.

Sebastian. What was he doing here?

Damn it, she was furious. Had she only just watched him die for his soul to chase her down this quickly?

"You vicious woman," he seethed. "How could I, Sebastian Griffith, have ever married someone as malicious as you? I know you''re not unconscious. Get up right now and sign these divorce papers."

He tossed a document onto her. "I won''t press charges, for the sake of the two years you took care of me. But we are getting a divorce."

"Divorce?" Natalie, still disoriented, looked from the furious Sebastian to her surroundings. Everything was painfully familiar.

Then it hit her like a bolt of lightning.

    Had she been reborn?

Reborn and sent back to the night of Joanna''s birthday party. The night Joanna framed her, iming Natalie had arranged her kidnapping. The night Sebastian served her divorce papers, and her own parents and four brothers presented her with a letter of disownment.

Back then, she had been a fool, so blinded by love that she couldn''t let go of the man she had nursed back from the brink of death. She refused to sign a decision that ultimately led to her and her baby''s demise. The memory of Sebastian pushing her, pregnant and terrified, from that rooftop seared through her with agonizing rity.

She was the granddaughter raised by Mr. Sanders Sr. She remembered the look on her beloved

grandfather''s face when he saw her corpse his voice raw with a pain she had never heard as he called her waste. He, who had never said a harsh word to her, had cursed her with such disappointment and despair.

Living again, she finally understood. If someone doesn''t love you, no amount of sacrifice will ever make them see you.

This time, she wouldn''t fall for Sebastian Griffith. This time, she would focus on being the rich, powerful woman she was always meant to be.

Rule number one of my new life: no more agonizing, just unleash hell. She would make every single person who had ever wronged her pay.

Just as she pieced everything together, an enraged voice cut through the air. "Natalie, the Scott family has no daughter as vicious as you. In front of all our guests, we are officially cutting all ties. Here are the papers of disownment. Sign them."

Natalie looked up at her furious

biological father, Nathan Scott, who was holding the document out to her. Her gaze swept over Joanna, sobbing as if her heart would break, her venomous mother, and the four brothers whose eyes burned with a murderous hatred. She didn''t need the Scott family''s affection. With a bleak smile, she looked at Nathan and said, "Fine. I''ll sign."
