Chapter 795

If she had known this was all he wanted to talk about, she would have just asked

him to tell her over the phone. There was no need to meet in person. The

    atmosphere was just too strange.

    "Hannah?"

    Quennel called out tentatively.

Hannah slowly looked up at him and hummed in question.

    "Hannah?"

    "Hannah?"

    "Hannah?"

    "That''s it."

After calling her name several more times with no response, Quennel finally let out a sigh of relief and sent a text message.

Two minutester, Marcus Hale entered through a small side door.

The private room actually had a smaller, adjoining room where Marcus Hale had been waiting, observing the situation through a small window. He only came out after receiving Quennel''s message.

"Mr. Hale, I''ll leave the rest to you," Quennel said, standing up.

"Just stand aside and watch. In half an hour, when this woman named Hannah wakes up, the man she''s been madly in love with will be you. In her mind, she was forced to marry Lionel, while you were the one she couldn''t have."

Hearing this, an uncontroble smile spread across Quennel''s face. His hands, hanging at his sides, clenched into tight fists with excitement.

In just half an hour, Hannah''s memories would bepletely altered. He would be the man she loved most, and Lionel would be the man she despised. Marcus Hale walked over to Hannah, pulled out a chair, and sat down.

"Hannah, your name is Hannah, correct?"

As if in a deep sleep, Hannah slowly opened her mouth. "Yes, my name is Hannah."

"The man you love is named Quennel, isn''t he?"

Hannah''s lips moved slightly. "No... that''s not right. It''s Lionel."

Hearing this, Quennel clenched his jaw tightly.

"You''re mistaken. His name is Quennel, the eldest son of the Bosenberg family you met him when you were young, and he saved you. Have you forgotten?"

At these words, Hannah''s calm expression began to twist into a look of struggle.

"No, that''s not right. I met him just before my wedding. He never saved me. I was the one who saved Lionel. You''re wrong."

Quennel was surprised that Hannah''s memories were still so clear even while she was unconscious.

They say that whatever a person remembers clearly while unconscious must be something of great importance.

It''s the same principle as someone crying out the name of the person they care about most when in danger.

Marcus Hale was unfazed by Hannah''s response, but seeing the displeased look on Quennel''s face, he couldn''t help but speak up.

"Don''t be so impatient. Memories have to be modified bit by bit. It can''t all be done at once."

Quennel nodded. "Of course, Mr. Hale. Thank you."

As the minutes ticked by, Quennel listened as Hannah''s

gradually changed, and the deep furrow in his brow began to smooth out.

"Hannah, I''ll ask you one more time. Who is the man you love most?" Marcus Hale stood up, moved behind her and ced his hands on her shoulders, asking sternly,Think carefully before you answer me."

After he asked, Hannah didn''t answer right away. She seemed to be deep in thought

for a long time before finally speaking.

"The man I love... is Quennel."
