Samuel admitted that he, too, wished he could give Lionel a piece of his mind, but s.
"You''ll get your chance. Just be patient, it''ll happen!" Cherry winked at him triumphantly.
She picked up her phone and took a screenshot of her recent call log with Lionel.
【I forgot to turn off my stream at home, and identally broadcasted the moment Lionel came over to wrongly use Hannah. I was kind enough to call and warn him, but all I got was an earful. My life is so hard.】
Cherry had, of course, recorded the entire phone call with Lionel.
She decided to wait and see what his next move would be. If he behaved himself, she''d keep the recording private. But if the idiot decided to stir up more trouble, she wouldn''t hesitate to release it.
After all, Lionel was already drowning in scandals. What was one more problem to add to the pile?
Let the chaos boil over; he could drink the whole damn soup.
He deserved every bit of it.
"I really need to learn from you. Your moves are like a chess game, one after another. If Lionel had met you sooner, he''d probably be six feet under by now. Though I guess he''s practically on life support as it is, haha."
Watching Cherry''s masterful maniption, Samuel was genuinely impressed.
First, Lionel had fallen for the elders'' trick and wrongly used Hannah, a huge mistake in itself. Then, he was informed that his every move and word had been broadcast live and were now trending online.
And now, Cherry had posted a screenshot painting him as the aggressor.
It was one thing after another. Forget Lionel, even Samuel, a mere spectator, felt suffocated just thinking about it.
"Saying he''s on life support is giving him credit. Anyone with a weaker constitution would have already found a balcony to jump from."
Cherry felt no remorse. Compared to what Lionel had put Hannah through over the past three years, her actions were mild. She was being kind, really.
The Rosenberg Group, CEO''s Office.
Quennel''s personal assistant saw the news trending online and rushed to inform him.
Quennel clicked on the trending topic and began to read, a thoughtful expression on his face.
His brows were furrowed at first, but as he continued, they gradually rxed.
"Lionel is an absolute moron," he sneered, tossing the tablet aside.
"He goes to confront Hannah with no evidence. After falling for Sandra''s tricks so many times, you''d
think he would have learned his
oth
lesson he said, his eyes still on the
tablet. He then issued an order.
"Push this topic to the top. Don''t let it drop. Buy some bots and paidmenters to
amplify the outrage. Let the whole world see what an idiot Lionel is."
"Yes, sir!"
The assistant left with the tablet.
Quennel was alone in the vast office. He sat back in his chair, his right hand resting
on the desk, a single finger tapping a light rhythm on the surface.
He had been worried that with the elders no longer suspecting Lionel, he would be their next target. He was just starting to n his next move when Lionel walked right into this mess himself.
In that case, he couldn''t be med for taking advantage of the situation. After all, a fool who repeatedly caused public scandals was a liability to the Rosenberg family. He was merely helping the elders eliminate a threat.
