As Mr. Michael Rosenberg spoke through gritted teeth, his gaze was fixed on Lionel.
It was as if he had already decided that Lionel was the one who had leaked the information.
However, facing Mr. Michael Rosenberg''s pointed stare, Lionel remained utterly unconcerned. He leaned back casually against the chair, crossed his long legs, and folded his arms, looking at him with a dismissive air.
Seeing his rxed demeanor, Mr. Michael Rosenberg grew furious, feeling that Lionel was deliberately provoking him.
In a fit of rage, he clenched his fist and mmed it on the table, snarling angrily.
"I''ll say it onest time. Whoever did this should confess now, and I can still spare them. But if you refuse to admit it and I find outter, the consequences will be far more severe than just being disowned."
At this, Lionel''s interest was piqued. He sat up straight, his eyes fixed on the elder. "If you find out," he asked, "what else will you do besides disowning them?"
"This is a civilized society now. Secretly arranging to have someone killed probably isn''t the best look. Even though the Rosenberg family has money and power in Sova, the police wouldn''t just stand by if a life was on the line."
"What I do next is none of your business! Just admit it, was this you or not?" Hearing Lionel''s brazen tone, Mr. Michael Rosenberg''s anger red even hotter.
"In the entire Rosenberg family, you''re the only one who would do something like this! I was truly wrong about you. You were so arrogant yesterday, and you dare to be this defiant in front of me today? Do you really think the Rosenberg family can''t function without you?"

Lionel spread his hands, let out a cold sneer, and lifted his chin arrogantly. His eyes half-closed, he looked at the elder, his voiceced with contempt. "So, the elder suspects I leaked what happened yesterday, Unfortunately for you wasn''t me. If you insist it was, then please, show me the evidence."
He scoffed, pletely unafraid. “Or you can track down the people who posted those screenshots online. Have them stand in front of me and use me to my face, as long as they have proof."
Since he truly hadn''t done it, he could speak with such confidence, even under the elder''s sharp words and intimidating re.
Hearing his arrogant tone, Mrs. Mary Rosenberg''s brow furrowed in anger. She snapped at him in a low roar.
“Lionel, if you did it, just admit it! Who else but an animal like you would do something like this? You have no idea how much trouble you''ve caused."
"The elders are only willing to sit down and talk to you calmly out of respect for the contributions you''ve made to the family in the past. Don''t push your luck Get on your knees, beg for their forgiveness, and pray they let you off. Do you hear me?"
As Mrs. Mary Rosenberg spoke, her chest heaved with anger. A knot of fury was
lodged in her heart, making it hard to breathe.
She felt as if this defiant son was going to be the death of her.
She couldn''t understand it. When Lionel first returned, he seemed more or less
normal, but now he had be so outrageous.
His actions were getting more and more out of line. She feared that if this continued, Lionel would not only destroy himself but also drag her down with him. The entire family would say she had failed to raise her son properly!
"Mother, you''re so certain it was me?
Did you see me do it with your own eyes? If I had actually done this, I would be on my knees apologizing to the elders right now They wouldn''t have to kick me out, I''d leave the Rosenberg family myself." Cóntent
