Chapter 692

I must have had a fever that fried my brain to believe that bastard would actually give me a solution!

Lionel pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.

He was already in a bad state from the fever, made worse by the illusion that Hannah was still by his side. Now, after being yed like that, Lionel felt like the entire world was against him.

For a moment, he felt like just dying. Hannah didn''t want him anymore, Sandra was scheming to frame him, and Quennel was enjoying the show, eager for him to crash and burn.

This feeling of being abandoned by the world was agonizing.

He didn''t know, didn''t understand why he had to suffer like this. Why was he being punished this way?

He already knew he was wrong and had apologized to Hannah, so why wouldn''t anyone forgive him?

He slowly got up and walked downstairs. The empty dining table and the deserted house made his heart feel hollow and miserable.

It used to be that no matter when he came home, the table would be filled with his favorite dishes, and a light would always be left on for him. It was never like this.

The things he''d grown ustomed to were now gone, and no matter how much he yearned for them, they were unattainable.

Regret. He was filled with regret, but Lionel knew it was toote for that now.

Lionel took a pack of instant noodles from the cab. While waiting for them to cook, he picked up his phone and called Cherry.

After listening to what Lionel had to say, Cherry hung up with a nk expression and looked up at Hannah, who was sitting across from her.

When Lionel called, she happened to be with Hannah, so she had put the call on speaker.

Hannah and Samuel had heard their entire conversation.

“Hannah, what on earth is Lionel thinking? He actually thinks I can convince you to meet him. Is he out of his mind?"

Cherry stared at Hannah in disbelief. If they weren''t all here, she would have thought she was hearing things.

"I mean, what sane person would even suggest that? My God, I can''t imagine what I would have done if I wasn''t working with you and he gave me a task like this. How could I How could I possibly pull it off?"

Lionel had called and asked her to

    arrange a meeting with Hannah,

iming he needed to talk to her about thepensation money. He promised her a very tempting resource if she could make it happen.  s?novels

Hannah could see that Cherry really wanted that resource.

After all, she had gotten quite a few resources from Lionel recently, which had been

a great help to her parents'' business. She didn''t want to miss out on any opportunity.

"Tonight, call him and tell him you''ve already arranged it with me. You can set the time and ce and just let me know. Make Lionel give you the resource first. If he doesn''t ferrim you''ll confess everything to me."

    Hannah didn''t refuse Lionel''s request.

After all, getting some valuable resources from Lionel was a great opportunity for both her and Cherry.

Once Cherry''s parents'' business took off, it would be more convenient if she needed their help or cooperation in the future.

Hearing Hannah agree, Cherry was stunned for a few seconds before looking at her with excitement.

    "Hannah! Really?"
