Chapter 670

The police officers stared in disbelief, their gazes shifting from Sandra to Quennel.

They never imagined the situation would escte like this.

No one could have fathomed that the seemingly refined eldest son of the Rosenberg family was involved in the kidnapping. The usation was utterly baffling.

Yet, faced with Lionel''s words and the scrutiny of the police, Quennel remained perfectlyposed.

A faint smile touched his lips as he spoke. “Lionel, you im I was the first one to hold Sandra captive. Fine. Show me the evidence. If you can''t produce any proof right now, then you''re ndering me. Do you understand that?"

Quennel hadn''t expected Lionel to try and take him down with him.

Fortunately, he had already destroyed all the security footage and any other evidence that could have linked him to the kidnapping.

Otherwise, he would have been in a very tight spot.

More importantly, from Sandra''s expression, it was clear she had no intention of pointing the finger at him.

Since the victim herself wasn''t getting involved, Lionel could scream himself hoarse and use him all day, but it wouldn''t do any good.

In fact, it would only make the police suspect that Lionel was trying to frame him.

“Lionel, everything hinges on evidence. If you make wild usations without proof, it is indeed nder. If Mr. Rosenberg decides to press charges, you will face legal consequences," an officer said sternly, looking directly at Lionel.

Lionel stared at them, stunned for a moment, before turning to Sandra with his teeth clenched.

    He started walking toward her.

The moment Sandra saw him approaching, she let out a piercing scream and scrambled to hide behind her parents.

"Stay away from me! Don''t! Help! Get

away! Aaaah-don''te any closer tim begging you just let me I''m golf won''t say anything about you! I ran in there myself to hide! No one locked me up, okay? Just let me go!"

Her hysterical shrieks only reinforced the impression that Lionel was, in fact, the one who had imprisoned her.

Otherwise, why would she react so violently the second he moved toward her?

Seeing Sandra''s intense reaction, the police immediately stepped in, pulling Lionel back to create a safe distance between him and Sandra.

"Lionel, do not approach the victim. Maintain your distance. Step back!"

When Lionel still tried to push forward, an officer issued a sharpmand.

"She''s faking it! It''s an act, can''t you see?!" Lionel yelled, his face red with fury as he pointed a trembling finger at Sandra.

"She''s lying to all of you! It''s all nonsense The first person to lock her up was Quennel! I''m the one who saved her! Leven received

    of anonymous message bunch

telling me exactly where she was!"

As he spoke, Lionel suddenly remembered the messages. He excitedly pulled out his phone, intending to show them to everyone.

“Quennel, you just wait! I''ll prove those anonymous tips came from you! This was all your doing, and you had the nerve to call the cops and frame me!"

Lionel cursed at Quennel as he searched through his phone. "I didn''t even call the police when I got Sandra out, and this is how you repay me?!"

While he had never considered Quennel a brother, he had never intended for them to be sworn enemies. But he never imagined Que would be so utterly ruthless and treat him like this.
