Chapter 632

Hannah wasn''t surprised that Lionel would say something like that. That was just the kind of person he was.

"And get this, he called Quennel right in front of me and they got into a fight. I really don''t get what goes on in his head. I think he belongs in a psychiatric hospital, not a regr one."

After several encounters with him, Cherry was starting to get the feeling that the man''s thought processes weren''t normal.

He seemed very extreme, self-righteous, andpletely self-centered.

Especially with everything that had happened recently: first, he made Sandra frame Quennel, then he ordered Quennel to do his dirty work, and in the end, he tried to steal the credit. He was always number one when it came to fighting for glory.

"I think next time, you should wait until you''re in a bad mood to go see him," Hannah suggested.

"That way, you can pick a fight with him, and arguing will probably make you feel better."

Hannah couldn''t help but make the suggestion, seeing how angry Cherry was as she spoke.

After all, seeing him always led to a fight. Going there in a good mood only to get into an argument was a loss. But going there in a bad mood, having a fight, and then feeling better afterward? That was a brilliant strategy.

Cherry looked at Hannah as if she''d just had an epiphany.

"You''re right! Why didn''t I think of that before?"

At Hannah''s suggestion, Cherry''s eyes lit up. She even started to regret going so early today.

She should have waited until she was feeling down before visiting him.

But then again, she had managed to snag some resources by going early, so it wasn''t a total loss. Next time, though, she''d definitely wait until she was in a bad mood.

"Hannah, about those people... do you think they really had important information, or was it a bluff? Lionel didn''t get anything out of them, and Quennel said he asked but they told they had nothing,"

Samuel continued, a hint of suspicion in his voice.

"Maybe in the past, people would try to scam us with empty ims, but over time, most have learned not to."

"We''ve dealt with scammers like that before, and they all ended up in jail. If this group is still trying it, it feels like they have a death wish."

"Are you trying to say Quennel is lying to us? That he actually got the information but doesn''t want to tell us?"

Cherry immediately retorted, "He''s so good to Hannah. If he really found something useful, he would definitely tell her. That information is useless to be anyway What benem Would he get from hiding it?"

"You don''t think he''s nning to use it to ckmail Hannahter, do you?"

Cherry thought what he was saying was ridiculous. That couldn''t be it.

Samuel wanted to argue, but after thinking about it, he realized she had a point. He couldn''t refute it, but something still felt off.

Because what Cherry said was true. There was no real benefit for Quennel to get that information and then hide it from Hannah.

Hannah watched them bicker back and forth before finally speaking up.
