Chapter 565

If Sandra coulde up with so many vicious schemes to torment Hannah and make her miserable, then surely she coulde up with just as many brilliant ways to help him win Hannah back.

Lionel never imagined that one day he would be relying on another woman for advice on how to win over Hannah. The thought was utterly bizarre, almost surreal.

"That idea you had before, about bringing Tess back? Even if she had agreed toe, the way you went about it waspletely wrong. It was a wed approach from the start."

Sandra sat up again with a sigh, looking at Lionel as she continued.

"You''re the one who sent her away, and now you''re bringing her back out of the blue, without a word to anyone, as if it''s some grand surprise. But do you really think Hannah would see it as a pleasant surprise?"

    “Isn''t it a pleasant surprise?”

Lionel retorted dismissively. To him, it seemed like a wonderful gesture.

Hannah and Tess were so close. He had been at fault for sending Tess away, so bringing her back would surely make them both incredibly happy when they were reunited.

Seeing Lionel''s naive expression, Sandraughed out loud. "Let me tell you, that''s not a surprise. That''s a deration of dominance."

"If you really want to make things right with Hannah, you should respect her. You should try to see things from her perspective and figure out what she truly needs, instead of just unterally deciding what you think is best for her."

Having learned about Lionel''s recent interactions with Hannah, Sandra could only conclude that the man in front of her had a serious screw loose.

He was radiating that overbearing, toxic alpha-male vibe that was just repulsive.

"You''re too arrogant. That''s the real reason you and Hannah are still fighting and can''t seem to fix things."

Frankly, Sandra found his behavior toward Hannahpletely baffling. With her, Lionel had always treated her like a treasure.

Lionel had respected her, cherished her, and considered her feelings in everything he did. He never made a single decision without her input or did anything that made her ufortable. Everything he did was for her sake.

Being held in the palm of his hand like that wasfortable, blissful even.

But with Hannah, everything he did seemed tinged with a sense of charity an air of superiority asif she should just ept his actions, be happy, and feel eternally grateful.

Lionel just stared at Sandra, his face a mask of confusion.

Sandra continued, "If you really can''t understand, then just pretend she''s me. Treat Hannah the way you used to treat me."

"It''s a very basie method, but if you

can''t even manage that, then I''m out of ideas. I''ve done my best to help you. But me helping you doesn''t guarantee sess. The key to

whether this works or not be

    Withele

    you, not me."

If she hadn''t witnessed everything that had transpired between them, Sandra would

never have known this side of him even existed.
