    The fresh air and distant sounds felt surreal to her.


    During her captivity, she had lived in constant fear, sometimes too afraid to sleep, terrified that if she closed her eyes, she would never wake up.


    She only ever slept when she was utterly exhausted.


    Catching a glimpse of Sandra''s sleeping form in the rearview mirror, Lionel decided to tell Hannah about her immediately.

    "He''s probably found where Sandra is being held, or he''s already brought her back. He wants me to go over there so I can hear what happened to her during this time,


    Honestly, she had little interest in Sandra''s kidnapping.


    It would just be another story about how Quennel had abducted her and how much danger she had been in.


    Hannah thought for a moment before saying, "Let him in."
