Chapter 476

Sandray on the cold floor, covered in blood. Her face was so swollen it was almost unrecognizable, and her clothes were in tatters, hanging off her like rags.

When Quennel had walked into the cell and made the call right in front of her, Sandra had a bad feeling.

But hearing the conversation, she felt a flicker of joy-Lionel was still looking for her. That joy quickly vanished when she realized his so-called search was nothing but empty words. He hadn''t taken any real action.

“Hannah went to Nyston on a business trip recently, and Lionel followed her there. He secretly stalked her, shamelessly booking a room in the same hotel, right across from hers. When Hannah found out, she was so angry she went to stay with a friend."

He had his own people keeping an eye on Hannah''s trip.

So he knew everything that had happened to her there, down to thest detail.

Quennel sat on a sofa, a smirk on his face as he watched Sandra''s expression darken. He continued, "Then he went to find Hannah''s friend and asked her to tell Hannah it wasn''t intentional. Someone at Hannah''spany started a rumor about her."

"Hannah figured out a way to solve the problem all by herself. And yet, Lionel still went to her and asked why she didn''t call him, saying he could have helped. You see? He has no intention of finding you. His mind ispletely filled with Hannah. He only wants to help Hannah."

In truth, when his men reported this to him, Quennel himself had been shocked by Lionel''s shamelessness.

He couldn''t believe the man had the audacity to ask her why she didn''t rely on him, why she didn''t call him for help.

He had never helped Hannah in the past, and now he wanted to y the hero? It was a joke.

If he''d had this mindset three years ago, they would never have ended up in this situation.

That''s why Quennel wasn''t the least bit worried about Lionel winning Hannah''s forgiveness. It would never happen in this lifetime.

Lying on the floor, Sandra listened to his monologue, then clenched her teeth and shakily pushed herself into a sitting position. Ignoring the searing pain, she red at him with hate-filled eyes.

"What''s the point of telling me all this?" she hissed. "What does iter matter? if he doesn''te

me, then so be it. It''s not like if he did, we would have anything..."

Sandra trailed off. After all, she hadpletely betrayed him.

For all she knew, if she fell into Lionel''s hands, she would only face more torture.

"Are you trying to provoke me with those words?" Quennel raised an eyebrow.

"Don''t worry. As long as he doesn''t find you, you''ll stay right here. Until the day he does. And don''t you worry, I''ll leak him a few clues about yourter. We can make a bet see if he even bothers to find you.

    Sandra stared at him, stunned.

At first, she didn''t understand why Quennel would want to reveal her location to Lionel.

Then it hit her. He wanted to test Lionel, to see if he had any feelings left for her.
